Q: I just received this order and the product only states "antiperspirant" and does not say "deodorant". Is it actually both?

A: This is an antiperspirant and deodorant. Any antiperspirant that has a scent to it would be a deodorant as well. If it were unscented, then it would only be an antiperspirant.

How can you destroy the best deodorant on the market? I’ve used degree cool rush for 10+ years. How is it that this change was approved? Did no one try the new version before it went into production? I read about a “relaunch” that says the old version was coming back. If this is the attempt to bring back the old formula, then you missed again. This product doesn’t work. I feel sticky all day. Any chance the true original will be brought back?

Finally I can confirm the original scent is back on shelves and smells amazing again! Just make sure the expiration date is 04/2027 or later and you’re good, otherwise you’ll get the bad stinky stuff.

Degree Cold Rush is one of my go-to deodorants, especially when I travel! It keeps me fresh all day, even when I’m super active or on the go. The scent is really clean and energizing without being overpowering. I love that it holds up through workouts, errands, and busy days. Definitely a must-have in my routine! Even as a woman, I use this.

This stuff was the best and now it’s just awful. Responses from Degree to previous comments said they are changing the scent back - please make it clear on the packaging or something so I can start buying this again.

This will be rolling out nationwide this month, but you may still see some of the previous version on shelf. You can check the 5-digit production code on the bottom of the package - anything produced on or after March 29, 2025, will be the original formula. You can identify these by choosing a product with a production code of 03305 or higher. Hope this helps!

I have been using cool rush for at least the last ten years probably longer but I usually get the big pack at Sam’s but I ran out and didn’t have a chance to go and grabbed a single stick, idk what or why they changed the scent but it’s horrible. It gave me and my wife both headaches with in the next few hours of wearing it, to the point before going to sleep that night I washed It off and used a stick of my wife’s degree (shower clean). I really Hate that they did this degree has been the only deodorant that I can Use without breaking my arms out.

I do not know why they changed this deodorant, it was the best since it worked well and did not have a strong smell. The new updated fragrance is overpowering and it made me itch. I have been buying the 48hr cool rush for a long time but this new one is just terrible. So much so that I emailed Degree to voice my concern, which I never do. I hope they change it back, and soon.

I prefer men’s deodorants over woman’s. Men get concept smells like “cool rush”, while woman get real things like “rose” or “coconut vanilla”, just a funny observation. Anyway, that aside, this one smells nice and clean, and because it’s for men I feel like it’s a stronger formula, so it lasts all day!

This is the worst smelling smell I've ever smelled. Literally..I used my husband's stick in a rush one morning and had to call off work on the way bc the smell made me so nauseous. Everytime my husband uses it before bed (as not to be wasteful bc we're never buying this again) I get a whiff of what I believe is dog dookay and realize it's the deodorant. For the love of God stop making this one. Read reddit reviews everyone hates this so bad

Warning! They changed the scent. I’ve been using this scent for at least 15 or more years and love(d) the scent, it was a nice clean/but not powdery smell. Recently bought a new pack and the smell has more of a spice to it and fresh out of the tube it smells like you’re already breaking through from working all day in the yard. Apparently degree has acknowledged their mistake changing the formula and will be returning back to the old scent “in the next couple months” but who knows when that will actually be. I’ll be returning the new tubes, such an unflattering smell for male of female. It still works great as an antiperspirant, but you don’t smell like it does. Hey companies- If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, please!
