Q: What does “microwave safe, reheat only” actually mean? Ex. Can you make instant oatmeal in this, or is that cooking vs. reheating?

A: "Reheat only" means you can warm foods up for a short time in the microwave. Instant oatmeal is okay. But I wouldn't put it in the microwave for longer than 3+ minutes.

On the positive side, the bowl is made from soft, BPA-free silicone, which feels safe and durable. The non-slip base is also a nice touch, as it helps prevent the bowl from sliding around during mealtime, especially when my baby is starting to self-feed. It’s easy to clean, and I love that it’s dishwasher- and microwave-safe, which makes life a lot easier. However, there are a couple of downsides. The bowl is a bit smaller than I expected, so I often find myself needing to refill it during meals. Additionally, while the silicone is flexible, it can sometimes retain food odors, even after cleaning, which is a bit annoying. It’s also not as sturdy as I’d like—after a few drops, I noticed some minor wear and tear on the edges. Overall, this is a decent bowl, but I think it could be improved in terms of size and durability. It works well for small meals and is convenient for quick cleanups, but it’s not perfect for all feeding situations.
