This adapter is necessary if you want to use the Bugaboo Snack Tray on your Bugaboo Butterfly 2. I think it is pretty ridiculous that this has to be purchased separately. The snack tray should come with the adapter, since it cannot be used without it, and the adapter cannot be used for anything else or any other model stroller. To me, the price paid for a high-end stroller like the Bugaboo should come with these accessories standard, or at least the accessories should come with the adapter built in. Aside from that, it was relatively easy to install after following the directions. It is nice that the tray can be left on when folding the stroller. This honest review was in exchange for the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Tray Adapter, compliments of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

This adapter is so sturdy and well made - not surprising since everything I’ve ever had from bugaboo is made with such good attention to detail and high quality. My family is always on the go between travel and daily errands so our travel stroller is probably our most used item. This adapter just elevated my love for bugaboo since my toddler is a huge snacker and this gives such an easy and convenient way to travel with his snack tray. The adapter couldn’t be easier to install and it does not budge once it is attached to the stroller. It even allows the stroller to still be folded without needing to detach the adapter!! This is a game changer as it gives so much convenience - something that is so cherished as a mom. Once again - bugaboo blows me away. After reviewing the bugaboo try adapter from the Stellar Panel Review, it was an overall good experience. The adapter was easy to install, after looking at directions a bit closer. They were a big confusing at first. Paired with the bugaboo butterfly tray, the adapter fits perfectly and easy to use! I do appreciate that the adapter helps to move the tray up and down easily and that it can be stored with the trap and adapter still attached! Super convenient for our family of 6! The durable adapter and tray together are perfect for our amazing compact stroller!

It held up through my twin one year olds and three year old. That is a true test of quality! We are a busy family that is often on the move. It is helpful to be able to pack the stroller up quickly, and not need to take several accessories off before storing away. The adapter also stayed attached to the stroller when being stored. While the adapter seems very solid and has not moved upon trying to pull/push it, installation was a bit tricky. It was not super clear as to where on the stroller side bar it needed to be installed, and it became clear it wouldn't just go wherever. Once I determined the correct height, it slid into place easily. I appreciated that the adapter could go on either side of the stroller depending on user preference. It can also be rotated as needed. Being able to fold the stroller without the adapter getting in the way or needing to be removed is great, even though the snack tray has to be removed anyway. Given how it must go at one height and doesn't interfere with the stroller folding, I am a bit disappointed that this isn't included automatically with the stroller or snack tray. Parents juggle a lot, so needing to purchase an additional item to use the snack tray could definitely be frustrating!

Pros: *Once installed properly, it is secure. *Pretty simple to use (maneuver up and down). *Once you understand how to install, it's fairly easy. *Stroller can be folded with adapter attached. Cons: *There were no instructions included in my box. I thought I figured out how to install it myself and it was not functioning properly. Later, I realized I had the adapter installed incorrectly, and corrected it. Overall, I would recommend this adapter as long as instructions are provided.

I received this adapter as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a really solid adapter. You can just set it and forget it- once it’s on you forget it’s even there. It doesn’t affect the folding feature in any way and you don’t have to take it off so it’s just there for the next time you use the stroller. The connection is really solid, it’s definitely secure and not going anywhere. It blends right in. If you follow the instructions, it’s easy to put on. If you ignore them it is almost impossible to figure out how to put it on. That being said, part of me wonders why it isn’t just built into the stroller by default. It can only go in one specific spot on the stroller next to the child. I wish it was adjustable. It also pushes in ever so slightly into the fabric and slightly impinges baby’s seating area.

The tray adapter is easy to install and works as expected without disrupting the aesthetic of the stroller. (It took me a few minutes to figure out where exactly to put it so that the 2 pieces fit and slid together so if you're like me, feel down the bar on wither side for the raised oval area. That's where it clicks into.) It snaps right into place with zero fuss and feels really solid, so I don’t worry about the tray wiggling loose.
