A: Hello, the Munchkin Brice Night Light Baby in Sight Pivot Car Mirror requires 4 AA batteries (not included). The remote requires a CR2032 lithium battery, that is included with the remote.

Mirror scratched immediately. You cannot wipe or even look at this without it scratching. Also the remote does not work, never has. If I was still able to return this I would.

Does not work. Light doesn’t turn on with new batteries. Remote doesn’t work. The straps dont keep the mirror put and it will start to sag or loosen from the headrest and the mirror falls. This never worked from the get go. Bad product! Zero stars

I got this a baby shower gift and have used out for about 4 months now and it works great! I love how you can do a quick check and the light has an auto shutoff. I also like how i can do a rainbow of lights or pick a color. Great mirror for peace of mind.

Worked great for the first almost year and then it randomly decided to stop working. Changed the batteries in the remote and the mirror and still not working. Definitely won’t be buying this brand again. Got one off Amazon much cheaper that is way nicer.

The remote on this is absolutely terrible. Doesn’t work 90% of the time, even with brand new batteries. Two stars because the mirror functions as expected and you can use the lights if you use the buttons on the mirror.

I bought this 4 weeks ago because I knew I needed a mirror to watch baby when I started driving by myself. I originally bought the munchkin mirror that doesn’t have a light, but I realized I wasn’t able to see him at night. Therefore, i returned it and ordered the night light sight pivot car mirror online and I have to say it is very helpful when driving at night. Instead of turning the bright light from the backseat and startling baby I just use the little “control remote” and turn light on, it’s a soft light but bright enough to see baby! Definitely keeps me at calm being able to see my baby while I drive at night, waiting for dad to get back from the store, waiting at a drive through etc… I also like that the remote has a hook! If you want a product to watch baby while you sirve day and night, that is very convenient and easy to install this is it!

Received this as a shower gift. Went to install today, and the remote just doesn’t work. Fresh batteries were installed. And the remote within inches of the mirror doesn’t work. So I’m returning.

Easy install, remotes are small and the hook fits great on my console shelf (my visor in my Rav is too big). Per normal buys you have to get the batteries for the mirror itself separately but the remotes come with it. The symbols on the mirror/remote are a bit confusing and I’ll have to remember what the book says but still it’s a mirror and effective.

Tabs on adjustment buckle broke after a month of use, could never get the mirror secure enough to be useful and now i'm out of the return window. Big waste of money. Doesn't work on the small headrests of a sedan.

I would ignore other reviews saying it didn't turn on - personally I think those are all user error. Once you put in batteries on the light itself (not included), you need to turn that mirror ON (it won't actually turn the light on!) and then use the remote. The remote DOES need to be pointed at it correctly as well, but having it clipped to my visor points it perfectly at the backseat. Having the lighted mirror is HUGE for us, since we do drive at night and have our toddler eating in the car at the same time. I want to be able to keep an eye on her to make sure she isn't choking! Also the mutlicolored lights are so nice - actually helped keep my little one awake for a car ride in which I didn't want her to fall asleep!

We decided against a camera version and really like this one. Having the ability to light up the mirror and see our baby while driving at night is great. He also seems to enjoy the changing lights when he’s awake. The timer for the mirror to shut off is also helpful.
