I received this meeting with an CPST through Stellar Panel and boy am I glad I did. Our CPST was knowledgeable and patient. I came into my appointment with a few best practice concerns and they were able to calm my nerves and give me a few solutions to combat my worries. They gave their recommendation for the next car seat for my son which we ended up purchasing and LOVE. Scheduling an appointment with an expert was super easy and when I needed to make a change they were accommodating; both of which are so helpful to experience as an extremely busy parent of two. I recieved a free car seat safety check with a certified car seat expert to review with my honest opinion through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Setting up the appointment was very easy and tot squad was very accommodating (even after I missed the initial sign up window). The expert was extremely knowledgeable and I was suprised how easy it was for her to identify various seats and components (even a seat we have that is no longer being made). We had the appointment on a dark, cloudy day and I was worried about the lighting in my garage but it ended up not being an issue at all. She gave me great advice ensuring me on things I had set up correctly and providing direction on any changes that needed to be made. She also helped walk me through when and how to make adjustments for the future (like when my 3 year old hits the weight limit and should be swapped to forward facing. I was able to easily do this video call while my youngest napped and my oldest had an activity to keep her occupied. The appointment times were great too. During the work day but also after work and on the weekends too. We met through a video chat to install my daughters convertible carseat. I received this product through stellar panel. The appointment process was super easy! The expert was very polite, and professional. Any questions that I had the expert had an answer for. It seemed that the expert was very knowledgeable and if the expert did not know they worked very hard to get you the correct answer. I was given an opportunity to schedule a Tot Squad car seat, safety, check through the Stellar Product Testing panel. Unfortunately although I thought I did all the steps right I never heard back for my appointment. I am perfectly happy to try again, or to believe it was an error on my end, but unfortunately I am not able to say honestly that it was easy to make an appointment.

I have seen posters at my pediatrician's office advertising certified car seat experts, but I don't have time to physically go somewhere just to get my car seat checked. FaceTime is a great option for those who want to ensure the safety of their babies but don't have all day to get to an appointment! I scheduled mine during my lunch break and it was over super fast. I have 2 of the same car seat, but when giving my safety expert the info, there was an option to have multiple different seats checked during the same appointment. Would definitely recommend this service to any new (or not new!) mom!

There was not a long wait time, but I would've like to see more convenient hours listed i.e. some appointments were at 10PM or 11PM, but none in early morning or late afternoon. This proved a little bit inconvenient for my working hours so maybe more availability would be great. The session was fast and she knew all the right questions to ask to make sure my car seat was installed properly. She checked every angle and knew my seat model so she could be thorough. I really appreciated that prior research on her behalf. At the end, she even invited me to text her further and send her pictures if I had additional questions on seat settings for my husband's car seat since his car wasn't present at the time. In the end, I feel safer now having had someone take a second look at how my daughter's car seat was installed!

Although I was excited about the virtual car seat check, I wasn’t sure I was going to learn anything from it. With three kids under 6, I’m no stranger to car seat installation. I got a confirmation and a couple of reminders via text before the appointment, which was a simple FaceTime video call. There weren’t any apps or downloads I had to use. I will say I was pleasantly surprised and really impressed with everything I learned during the consultation! There were several tips that were discussed that were very helpful and an installation error I had overlooked that the expert noticed. She was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She also followed up by sending me links for some of the questions I had. This was a service I really wish I had prior to having my first baby, but even after three it was still very helpful. As a mom, I work so hard to make sure my babies are safe and I’m doing everything right. There are so many balls to juggle, something is bound to fall through the cracks. Unfortunately, for me, I guess it was car seat safety. I GENUINELY thought I read the car seat manuals and installed them correctly. So when I was given the opportunity to test out this service through Stellar Product Testing Panel, I truly didn’t expect much. I figured I would give it a try and leave a review saying “not worth it”. Instead, I ended up walking away from the video call telling my husband “I am so glad I did that call. We’ve been doing it wrong this whole time”. The woman was very knowledgeable, kind, and so patient with me as I fumbled with latches. She sent photos to help clarify instructions when I wasn’t understanding and was so nice. The only downside is booking an appointment was a bit confusing because the timezones but my provider was willing to be flexible and made the time work. I’m not sure if this is a service I would have thought to buy for our family but would be thankful if it was gifted to us as our kids got older. For reference my kids are 6mo and 3 yrs old and I don’t think it would have been as helpful when they were newborns
