Bugaboo Giraffe Baby Rocker - Polar White

The Bugaboo Giraffe baby rocker is a wonderful standalone rocker that extends its functionality as an add-on to the Giraffe highchair. The main body of the rocker is a soft, machine washable fabric that reminds me of a mix between microfiber and alcantara. Right out of the box it didn’t have an off-gassing smell, which I really appreciated. There is also plenty of removable padding around the 5-point harness. The rocker base is a beautiful natural beechwood with two strips of grip on either side of the bottom. At the back of the base is a kick stand to keep the rocker stable when needed and neatly tucks away when not in use. The suggested weight range is typical for a rocker: newborn through 26.5 lbs - 20lbs as a high chair attachment - or until the little one can sit up on his or her own. While this is more of a limited piece of equipment, it does serve as a multifunctional product if you opt to get the Bugaboo Giraffe high chair as well. The rocker can serve as a cozy resting spot for your little one atop of the chair, and allows them to be at a higher elevation to join you at the dinner table - or wherever. Moving the rocker from the base to the high chair is quite seamless and simple, with just two buttons on either side of the rocker that you press to release. An indicator spot near the release buttons lets you know if the rocker is secure, showing green once it’s snapped in correctly, and red if it isn’t. My only complaint is that I had a bit of a time stretching the fabric completely over the frame and getting it to snap. The setup was easy apart from that (and probably completely easy for anybody with a bit more muscle!). Overall I recommend the Giraffe rocker if you value versatile and good looking baby gear. A bonus is that it is fairly priced to other comparable brands, and can be obtained as a bundle with other Giraffe items for a discount. The Bugaboo Giraffe Baby Rocker is a well-designed, high-quality product that combines style, comfort, and functionality. My little one sits comfortably in the supportive seat and really enjoys the gentle rocking motion. I’ve noticed that her own movements sometimes keep it rocking on its own, which I imagine will become even more engaging as she grows. One of the standout features is how lightweight and portable it is—I can easily move it from room to room, even while holding my baby. It fits neatly into small spaces and blends seamlessly with the room’s decor, which I really appreciate. I’ve used the rocker while folding laundry, packing, and getting ready in the morning. During those times, my baby is content watching me and being gently rocked, often just by my foot, which makes it super convenient. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. When rocked, the rocker tends to shift slightly, so I occasionally need to reposition it. Also, the newborn portion didn’t come with any assembly instructions, which made setup more frustrating than it needed to be. Overall, the Bugaboo Giraffe Baby Rocker is a thoughtfully made, attractive rocker that offers comfort and convenience. I was drawn to this rocker for its sustainable construction and fell in love with the versatility to move it single handedly around my home. My baby started is almost 6 months now and still very comfortable in it with plenty of room to grow for the next 6 months. I received the rocker to test for Stellar Products, and I couldn’t be happier with its soft rocking, high quality upholstery, and modern silhouette that fits into our home design perfectly. There is much more support than a standard wire frame rocker, so my baby’s bottom sits up a bit higher and is firmly supported in the 5 point harness, so I know she’s safe as she’s rocking away. The assembly was simple but I highly recommend watching the instruction video as the manual is pictures only without step by step explanation. The video shows how to do it in a matter of seconds. Highly recommend!

Five stars! We love this rocker and use it daily for our two month old. The set up was a breeze with clear instructions and very few pieces that you are putting together. The quality is great- the material of the seat is a very thick and soft fabric. The five point harness, in my opinion, is the best feature of the seat! One click of the center button and all the straps release smoothly instead of fighting with cheap buckles like we have experienced with other baby seats. I haul this thing around the house with me daily so I can get chores done while my baby cozily lounges in it. I do plan on purchasing the coordinating bugaboo giraffe highchair that this seat can clip on to- it seems like a great set up so baby girl can hang with us at table height while we eat meals at the table. The eco friendly make up of the rocker does not compromise its aesthetic appeal- it fits right into the style of my house and I love looking at it! If you are wanting aesthetically pleasing baby products, look no further. Absolutely stunning. I don't think it gets better designed than this rocker (which is multi-use as it's interchangeable with their high chair). This rocker elevates any space or room that you use it in. It's sleek and modern. The base wood color goes with anything. I got the polar white cover which is more of an off white/gray color so it will hide more dirt than a stark white. The cover is soft and washable (big plus). The rocker is incredibly easy to assemble, a few clicks and sliding on the cover material - although I think the instructions could be a bit more descriptive with words rather than just pictures. I do really like the angle the baby is positioned. It feels safer in terms of the position compared to other chairs and rockers in a laying slightly angled flat versus a seated falling forward of others. I feel confident she is safely secured in the chair with the 5 point harness - she is not escaping or falling out. She looks totally comfortable which is important with the amount of time she can spend in it. She can rock herself by moving her legs around or you can rock them with a touch. There is a stand in the back that can be engaged to prevent any rocking motion for a 'stand-still' rocker. There is a wide rubber bottom along almost the whole wood frame to prevent slipping or scratching of the floor. Most products overlook features like this and it's rubber that is enough and will stay intact. Although I don't have the Bugaboo high chair, it is something I am looking to get because I love the rocker so much. The only downside of this product is the price. It is a pricey investment, but if you value aesthetics, comfort, design, and quality materials, it's well worth it. It is used multiple times a day in our home.
