Bumble Bee White Crab Meat - 6oz

Arrived with three cans dented VERY badly. This is the first time I've ever had a complaint with anything that I received from Target.

This is the worst of the worst, no crab taste, just bland.

I bought this for a cat who loves frozen, defrosted crab. I am vegan so his only opportunity for this is when my mom buys it for herself and gives him some. I thought he’d love this as an alternative but he wouldn’t go near it. I have 5 other cats who are not finicky at all (they will eat actual garbage) and they wouldn’t touch it, either. Perhaps something is wrong with it (spoiled while canning ?).

Awful tasting and mushy

I threw it out after one taste because it tasted awful and also was very watery.

Taste like wet cardboard. Hot sauce doesn't even help.

Disgusting doesn't taste like crab meat at all, very fishy like it has added cat fish flavor

When I opened the can, the “meat” was watery and mushy. It wasn’t meat at all. I don’t know what it was but I didn’t want to eat it. Would not recommend. Wegmans sells the same product and it’s actually crab meat so I’ll just purchase that.

This product has shells in them so it was very hard to swallow. I would not recommend.

A lot of mush and water, with barely any flavor. I’ve attempted 3 different recipes with this and all were a disappointment. Also, a lot of spitting out shell pieces. I recommend looking at other companies

I tossed this in the trash. Pure mush and it smelled bad. Waste of money. DO NOT BUY, unless you want to see for yourselves. I did not even want to taste it, it was that bad. Looked bad, smelled bad

All liquid no real meat.

The product contained some type of paper within it. Also did not expect it to be finely minced mush. Would not recommend.

This went into a tomato based pasta sauce featuring shrimp, clams, as well as this crab. I used a canned pasta sauce as a base, so it was not as tasty as it would have been if I had made it from scratch, but it was quick and easy. You could definitely taste the crab even with the other strongly flavored ingredients, but the crab itself disintergrated into the sauce in the few minutes it took to heat the sauce through. Nothing to chew here, folks! Except for the paper that I didn't realize that apparently lined the can or held the meat together to look more solid (not sure why). I noticed the paper when I stirred the sauce and managed to get ALMOST all of it out. I may try doing the sauce again (or perhaps do a cream based one), but I won't be using this brand of crabmeat. I don't think, based on it's texture, that it would be particularly suitable for salads. Maybe it would work in crabcakes if you prefer crabcakes made mostly of bread crumbs. Bumblebee is a name brand, so I'm surprised this wasn't better than it was.

Just fine for quick recipes. At this price I don't know what folks are expecting. I like to mix this with Japanese mayo and Sriracha along with roasted seaweed! So tasty and easy.

Probably best added to something that already has plenty of seafood already in it. The review that described it as 'crab dust' isn't far off --- just really tiny shredded pieces.

It was good and I will buy it again in the future.
