Tiny Specs of Clams
These are not chopped clams, they are shredded. I was surprised after opening the can and finding microscopic bits of clam. Since I had already cooked most of my ingredients for clam chowder I had to use these, my chowder came out wanting. On the pro side the flavor was good and the bits were tender. I will not buy again.

Mostly juice
The clams are tasty but the can contains mostly juice and an astonishingly small amount of clams. Also, why is there EDTA added? We probably won’t buy these again.

My favorite
Perfect for spaghetti clam sauce, I have this on permanent standby in my kitchen. Saute garlic, olive oil, wine, parsley lemon clams then add pasta and Parmesan. Voila! Easy dinner and delicious and low carbon footprint. The ratio of juice to clams is perfect for pasta and my kids hate big clam chunks so the small chopped size is perfect for us.

Waste of money.
Why is there SUGAR added to clams? Or I should say clam juice because the actual clam is so shredded and almost non existent.

Appetizing clams but contains additives
I used to turn to additive-free canned clams for clam chowder and clam dip, but have switched to this because the healthier alternatives weren’t as largely chopped and often had significantly more sand. If only these didn’t contain sodium tripolyphosphate or calcium disodium EDTA, I’d be cooking with them much more often.

Great For Pasta with Clam Sauce! And Wild Caught
It’s great that you can find wild caught which makes delicious pasta with clam sauce at an affordable price! I hope Target will continue to carry these! The taste is good and contains enough clam juice for such a recipe. I use two cans to make two servings of spaghetti and clam sauce.

Quality Clams
If you like canned clams this is the best brand to buy. I’ve tried other brands, but the quality is not as good. Plus, Target has the best price. Save at least fifty cents a can up to a dollar.

Clams Casino
Love the thickness of the clams and love that they are in clam juice. Very fresh and is perfect for Linguine and clams. Just add Olive oil and garlic and parsley and you have your meal . Don’t forget the garlic bread.

Perfect for Homemade Clam Sauce
A couple cans of these clams, some extra virgin olive oil, melted butter, salt , pepper and parsley and voila, a delicious homemade easy clam sauce. I slowly heat it all in my wok so as not to make the clams tough, which they are slightly to begin with, but I can live with that. I also do not discard the juice - that enhances the sauce. Just ladle it over some linguini , salad on the side, a meal fit for a king. Highly recommend.

After draining yhe can, there's only about 1/4 of the can filled with clam. Talk about bull. I didn't pay to buy a bunch of empty cans.
