Guests are saying

The Burris Fullfield E1 scope is praised for its exceptional clarity, light-gathering capabilities, and robust construction, making it a reliable choice for various hunting scenarios. Guests appreciate its affordability compared to other high-end brands while maintaining quality performance. The illuminated reticle is particularly noted for enhancing visibility in low-light conditions. However, some guests mention concerns about the stiffness of the power ring and the size of the reticle, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

Scope is great, reticle is too busy and too small

I've owned a few of these and still have a couple with regular plex reticle. Absolutely hate the E1 reticle and don't care for the ballistic Plex. Ballistic Plex isn't bad because it's not real busy but the E1 is horrible and too small, hard to see. Burris needs to make a regular 4-12 without AO. The side focus is ok but a regular 4-12x40 is something they should have done years ago

    Well Made, Well Priced

I purchased the scope for my new in-line muzzleloader. I'll say that this was my first purchase of a Burris optic, as my other optics include Leupold, Vortex & Nikon. I feel that the quality of this scope is on par with the other brands I use, but the price is lower. My only "negative" is that the power ring is a bit harder to rotate than I would prefer, perhaps it will get easier with more use.

    E1 3-9×40 muzzleloader scope

Just got the muzzleloader reticle version of this scope. Glass is excellent and has nice solid clicks. 4 stars because the magnification ring is really stiff.

Solid quality glass, good scope for a slug gun. Used this on a Mossberg 500 with rifled barrel for a shotgun only area. Great clarity of glass, and recoil of shotgun did not affect zero.

    Great scope for the money!

I put this scope on my Ruger American 450 Bushmaster. Once it was sighted in, I tested it back to 250 yards and it worked great! I believe that Burris made a mistake by saying that the scope is set to 500 yards. Here are my calculations (Hornady app) and I confirmed that they were accurate. Dash 1 = 1.4 moa (140 yards) Dash 2= 4.3 moa (200 yards) Dash 3= 7.2 moa (250 yards) Dash 4= 10.5 moa (295 yards)

    Customer support!

My must share Burris experience....Bought E1 muzzleloader scope for 3 reasons. Reticle subtensions, weight, and forever warranty. Make a long story short (to limit embarassment) I dropped the scope onto a linoleum floor (while attached to 6-1/2 lb rifle) from shoulder height, directly onto the eyepiece of the scope. Much to my surprise....nothing broke. No broken glass. Reticle was fine. Image was fine. Phew!!! Until I tried to turn the power ring. No go. So started the repair process. I returned the scope fully expecting to pay for my mistake, but Burris wouldn't hear of it. In about exactly 2 weeks a brand new scope showed up at my door at no cost. I didn't need another reason to buy Burris products, but now I have more more than enough reasons. THANK YOU!

    Great pig hunting scope

Used this scope on my 6.5 creedmoor hunting rifle for a pig hunt last weekend. The reticle is easy to see and the glass is very clear. At the range, we were consistently making 300 yrd shots on an 8-inch gong using the moa tick marks. The scope is pretty basic so it's a great beginner scope that you can zero and forget.

    Perfect

I bought two of these at once. One on an in-line and the other for a Ruger compact 308. The both preformed to burris quality. I will admit. I do purchase my share of Leupold too but I always I find Burris to be nose to nose at the finish line. Except with Burris I get to keep a few more bucks in my wallet.

    Excellent choice for AR platform

The E1 reticle is fantastic. Easily visible and easy to use for holdovers. No guessing. The light gathering and clarity of this optic is exceptional. The Fullfield line from Burris punches WAY ABOVE its weight! You can spend more on optics, but you don’t need to.

    Clear view

I put one of these on my AR15 and couldn’t be happier. You can easily see the crosshairs in low light. Bought a second one for my 350Legend. And with the Burris forever warrenty you don’t have to worry about anything.

    Great scope!

I have had my second offbrand scope in 17 years go out on my muzzleloader 2 days before season, went to local huntin shop seen the 450 bushmaster version decided I would try it in hair of a moment. Seaons only a week here anyway. But Black powder is one of my favorite seasons, and I truly enjoy muzzleloading. Went to range had it centered In bullseye at 50 in 2 shots. Ive shot bout dozen shot so far with it. Seems to shoot better than it has in a long time, I think my last offbrand scope wasnt very good to start with. In 2021 primers are hard to come by. I wont mess around with a cheaper scope on a muzzleloader ever again if I dont have too.

Great scope, better than many higher priced scopes

These are my 4th and 5th E1s. One on a Remington 700 BDL .30-06 and the other on a .270. I've really come to respect the E1 series. The glass is clear from edge to edge. The focus adjustment doesn't require turning the whole eye piece. And like every Burris I've ever owned, I've never had to re-zero from year to year. They always stay zeroed. There is no better scope for twice the money, and very few better at three times the price.

    Best Bang for the Buck

I have this scope on two of my deer rifles and have used it in low light, early and late. Both times in low light I could not make out the deer with the naked eye, but in this scope, I could see clearly. Distance was 100 and 185 yds - Very happy with this line.

    Best value out there

Mounted this to a Weatherby Vanguard with Burris rings. Visually awesome looking. I have an older Fullfield II and I appreciate the eye piece not rotating when zooming. Crystal clear and new reticle is very cool. I appreciate that the least expensive Burris scope has not compromised quality whatsoever.
