if it's fresh and has good shelf life left it's good.if not it's bad, it's really that simple.Target should have their registers decline a purchase of items that have a expired sell by date.as a shopper I shouldn't have to be reading dates on items in any store.the cash register should beep when ringing up expired items in case the shopper missed it.

I’ve purchased this meat in the past and it’s great stuff. And to the people rating it one star bc they purchased meat that was close to expiring or was expiring, are you guys unwell? Use your heads please. It is not the fault of the meat that it was so close to expiring. YOU purchased it without looking at the date, and on top of that, it would be the store’s fault for keeping close-to-expiring meat out on the shelves. Your reviews reflect your intelligence.

Out of date meat
Be very careful when getting this meat from The store and watch the dates! I went to the grocery store on the 17th and the dates was the 16th. I didn’t cook it until the 18th and I got sick after I ate it. I didn’t notice the date until I looked at it in the trash and the other packs I bought are all out of date.
