Q: Would a set of two of these racks be able to hold a 5-50 lb weight set (in 5 lb increments)?

A: Each set holds up to 300 pounds. If you add up single dumbbells in the range you presented, it adds to 275, so two racks should the full set, as long as they are allocated to not go over 300 lbs. I hope this helps!

Only holds 200lbs total, 100lbs per rack...
Description is wrong stating it holds 300lbs, the instruction booklet states otherwise. The weld job is ok, I guess you get what you pay for. It's good for a small workout space.
