Terrible product. Very very disappointed! Tough and barely able to bite into or chew. I threw the whole main dish away. Texture is worse than cardboard! Try again Carando. Stop adding cellulose fiber to your meatballs. They make yoga mats out of cellulose fiber!

These are not meatballs. These are sausage balls. No motz and no beef… just seasoned pork. I was wondering if just wrong label but I’m not the only one with this concern. Don’t advertise meatball when they are really sausage balls.

They had an odd taste

WE HAD OUR HOPES UP...BUT
We enjoyed the other flavors of meatballs and decided to try this one. Sadly it was very disappointing. My first meatball I pulled out two thin pieces of plastic only half way through. Ruined the meal for me and would not take a chance with another bite.

Please don’t list these at meatballs!!! They are porkballs!!! Just sausage balls!! Wasted my money buying these thinking they were real meatballs. What meatballs are just made with pork. Terrible. When you cook them they are hard as ever. Save your money.

Would not purchase again
I would not purchase these again. They end up like chewy bricks that tasted like hot dogs. We bought two packages and threw them all away, including the two we trieed to eat. .

Carando Meatballs
We picked up these meatballs for a quick dinner and they were just not as good as other brands we have had. Very rubbery and the ingredients weren’t great. Just overall not good. Ended up throwing most of them away. Unfortunately we would not recommend.

Extremely Salty and Rubbery
Baked them as instructed. They were so salty that they were almost inedible. Also, instead of a soft, light texture, they turned out firm and rubbery. They are are like a bad sausage without the casing.

Not our idea of an Italian meatball...
My hubby made pasta tonight with the Carando Mozzarella Rustica Meatballs. Wow, what a disappointment! They were super salty and tasted like a pork breakfast sausage- definitely not what we'd call an " Italian meatball" by any stretch of the imagination. They were very dense, greasy, and so salty, most of the other spices were eclipsed . They hit our stomaches like rocks! Yuck !This was our first time trying this brand and will be our last time. Waste of money and it ruined the pasta dish my husband worked so hard on. I am bummed AND it was my " cheat night", so I am really sad.

You'll notice a slight to moderate caramelized pork flavor, complemented by a moderate fennel taste. The saltiness is moderate to high, and there is just a hint of mozzarella cheese flavor and a very slight sweetness, along with a subtle heat from black and red pepper. Amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My local store did not carry the salami charcuterie so I got the Carando Italian meatballs instead and these were AMAZING! Easy to bake and come out nice and juicy! I love that they are already in small balls so you don’t have to do too much as far as baking them! Very good rich taste!
