Minimum height is not 16
Minimum height is 20 inches, not 16 as described. Box was really damaged and item had stains all over. Was obviously put together once and returned. Probably because of the same reason I'm returning it

Lightweight
The bench is not stable in the tub except when seated. The chair and the backrest are loose. I would not recommend this for a heavier person.

Life saver - so far so good!
I just had meniscus repair surgery and am non weight bearing for six weeks. Once allowed to shower I didn’t have a safe way to get in/out of shower. Love that this was took free assembly. Everything snapped into place quickly and easily. I use mine without the back attached. The handle is great to steady yourself and extra leverage. Have only used it 3-4 times so far - feels very sturdy but did notice when I got on yesterday I heard a snap of some sort - however the bench seemed to hold its integrity and no problems. It’s also a good height. Again only had it a short time but for no me I highly recommend it! Also shipped way faster than expected - had product two days after ordering.

Versatility and stability of this bench is limited
Its slanted legs do not allow it to work well with tubs like vertical legs do. Two legs outside the tub would be on a flat floor surface while the two inside the tub would be right up against the inner wall of the tub resting on a slightly curving upwards surface. Slanted legs do not allow for the seating surface to be level. It also lacks a horizontal stability connector bracing each pair of legs to ensure total stability. Cardinal Health model ZCHSHB06 is the only one of its type and thus the best featured but its unfortunately not being made anymore. Perhaps Carex's designers should look at it.
