If there was option to pick no stars, it’d be just that. This item is extremely terrible and your chances of it staying up is 0%. Been trying to set it up for 3 hours. Returning ASAP!!!!

KDB- We are sorry for your trouble. This caddy is designed with a special strong-hold locking system that holds stronger and has less wobble than competing sets. However, it is important the instructions be followed for proper strength and tightening. In addition to the paper instructions and sticker instructions on the rod itself, indicating which way to turn to lock, we have videos on the Target site which will demonstrate how to simply assemble the product. We hope you are able to reference one of these to complete your setup.

I wanted this to work so bad! Trust the reviews on this one, does not work well and falls apart. No matter how tight or perfectly measured it is, the entire thing will still loosen and fall. Baskets fall are on loosely and also falls off easily.

Design flaw means it doesn't stay up

The "tension" here is not from an internal spring but from a locking system that doesn't work as described. The top rod should be twisted to the length you want and then should be locked in place by twisting the "lock" bracket on the pole. What happens in reality is that the lock only prevents the rod from turning, but it doesn't prevent the rod from moving up and down (which shouldn't be possible in the locked position). So when you put any pressure on the top rod by trying to place it against the ceiling, it immediately lowers and there's no tension present to keep the thing in place. A great design otherwise with the basket placement and the look, but it will not stay up because the design is flawed.

Great, but overpriced

It's never fallen, holds up fine, and no rust. I was wary of the reviews as I saw people had problems, but it's worked just fine for me. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully while installing, like making sure not to overtwist the pole on the last steps. I like it, but I do feel like $40 is a bit much for the quality when you can find similar ones for much cheaper. I like the holes to hold bottles upside down, but the slots where you would put a razor are too small.

impossible to set up. not really a "tension" rod. you have to get the fit just right via the TOP pole, so expected to reach and twist at same time all the way up there. no one has directions on the internet for this particular item -- probably because it's impossible.

This thing is useless. It doesn’t hold tension, it fell on my mom in the shower. I watched the instruction video but there is no tension when you twist to lock it into place. Now I’m out $40 because I don’t have the box and the store won’t take it back.

This was useless for us. When the telescopic end was fully extended, and two poles inserted, it's 6 inches too short. When the telescopic end is fully collapsed, and the third pole added, it's too long. This will. be returned as soon as possible.

Would not recommend. Harder to put together than you’d expect. Tension does not hold. It ended up falling and everything came crashing down. Luckily no one was in the bathroom at the time.
