Q: How do I get rid of the formaldehyde smell? I've washed the cover portion & sprayed lightly some vinegar & left it outside to air out & it still has that chemical smell.

A: The smell does not go away, even after washing cover and airing outside also. And I have had these for over a month.

Not good for an HSP
The cushion quality is okay, for the price, being cheaper than the fancy memory foam ones. They have a plastic-y or slightly acrid smell though, not terrible, but bothersome to someone like me, very sensitive to smells. I washed the cover and put the cushions outside for a couple days, and they even got a bunch of sun. But it didn't help much. I have to put a towel over them to absorb the smell. And then periodically wash the towel because it picks up the smell too. I should have returned them, but then I am still left with needing some kind of cushion.

Best I have tried
I have tried several supplimental cushions for several different office chairs over the years. All have disapointed until I tried this one. The foam inside this cushion is genuinely firm and does not collapse in just a matter of minutes like most other chair pads. Simple, clean design. High quality materials. Worth the money.
