Q: How long do these last? Expiration date

submitted by grace - 2 years ago

  • A: You can find the expiration date stamped on the stick packaging below the barcode. Chomps are shelf-stable, making them the perfect on-the-go snack to stock in the pantry!

Q: Is there a difference in the ingredients in the 6pack compared to the 14pk of mini sticks? Sea salt version? There seems to be a vast difference in taste between the two packs I recently purchased.

submitted by Rene - 5 months ago

  • A: Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Our Original Beef Chomplings use the same recipe in every pack size, so the 6-pack and 14-pack have identical ingredients. Because Chomps are made with real ingredients, taste can vary slightly from batch to batch, but it shouldn’t be dramatic. If the difference seemed significant, we’d love to hear more. Please email us at team@chomps.com with the lot code printed on each package so our team can look into it. – The Chomps Team

submitted by JG - 6 months ago

  • A: Hi there! Yes, every Chomplings mini stick is individually wrapped, so they’re easy to toss in a lunchbox, purse or gym bag. They’re also shelf-stable, so no refrigeration is needed. – The Chomps Team

Q: Do these need to be refrigerated? I’m looking for a protein for a packed lunch for my son’s field trip and they won’t have access to refrigerators and we can’t send ice packs.

submitted by Cynthia - 1 year ago

  • A: Great question! Chomps do not need to be refrigerated, making them the perfect snack to take on the go! Chomps are also great for school lunches because they are free of the top 9 allergens and gluten-free.

    Everyday staple

The beef and sea salt ones are bomb! I eat them with my eggs in the morning for extra protein. Sometimes they are hard to bite through but overall a great snack. I wish they were cheaper though.

Same chomp, not really a back to school print

The packaging was not different from usual chomps - the outside looked like a cute back to school theme but inside was normal.

Purchased Chomps chopped beef sticks from the Target at Woodward Crossing Boulevard in Buford, GA. I realized after eating one that it was weird tasting and darker than usual, then noticed the entire package had a March expiration date, despite purchasing it in August. I’m disappointed that a product this far past its expiration date was still available for sale.

    For a picky eater

My seven year old is a picky eater and doesn’t eat much meat. He really enjoys the chomps mini in beef, chicken and chicken. I enjoy them because he gets some protein into his diet.
