About the Author

Philip Hooper is Joint Managing Director of Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler. Hooper joined Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler in 2000, setting up a new team for projects that would benefit from his ability to create interiors that bridged the historical and contemporary. His designs are full of complex layers and details, while staying true to his mantra of making clients supremely comfortable. Melanie Clore is Director of Clore Wyndham, the international art advisory. She worked at Sotheby's art auction house for more than 30 years, where she was Chairman of Sotheby's Europe, and Worldwide Head of Modern and Impressionist art. Simon Brown is one of the most renowned London-based interiors photographers.
