The chemical smell from the blue cap is sickening

I just bought this water from Target today for the 1st time. The water tastes alright, BUT that nasty chemical smell from the blue cap is horrible. It makes the rim smell like chemicals too so you can taste it with every sip. Because of this, I'll never buy it again. There's definitely better options.
