Q: Why on earth do the plates now have grey text on the actual food surface?

A: Mostly for marketing purposes. I don't think it's smart at all to put ink on a surface you eat from. Especially since hot food will dissolve it.

Q: Can you please print the recycled text on the bottom of the plate and/or on the plastic wrapping?? I’ve been waiting for over a year for this quality of plate to be fully white. The message on the plate is atrocious.

Not how they used to be
The recent batch I bought are low quality and flimsy. These were my go to. It was a great price and quality. Not so much now, the food soaks through and food has even dropped out the plate because it blended over. Target please change this back!! Bring back the quality. I will look elsewhere as they are no longer worth it. I rather pay for quality. Disappointing.
