Q: Does this need to be ironed, or can it come of the dryer and ready to use?

  • A: Yes, it needs ironing because the fabrics are natural. Only chemically treated fabric or manmade fabric (polyester for example) doesn't need ironing. Shrinks like crazy. After wash/dry 56" x 73".

This tablecloth is awful. Its not soft. I followed the wash and dry instructions and it shrunk so much it doesn't fit on the table. Instant return. Target stuff used to be better quality. Hoping this is just a fluke.

Shrinks after wash

This tablecloth shrunk several inches after washing on a cold delicate cycle and tumble drying without heat. Care instructions say you can machine wash cold and tumble dry in low heat. Will be returning and ordering a different option as it no longer fits my table. If you have a smaller table, it may work still once shrunk. Loved the style and color of this tablecloth but cannot recommend it.

I've never had a tablecloth shrink before. Took it out of the package and it smelled like cheese. I washed it and it shrank absurdly. The runner I bought with this order which were SHORTER than the length of the tablecloth are now hanging lower than the tablecloth itself off the end of the table.

This product is exactly as described and pictured. In person, it is the best quality, and the color is very natural looking. It is linen & cotyon, which is a very nice combination. The cotyon content softens the linen fabric, and it also is less wrinkly than all linen. Highly recommend.

As a natural fabric, it needs ironing, but it's so easy! BE AWARE they shrink like crazy from 60"x 84" down to 56" x 73". They also produce an incredible amount of lint in the washer (messy) and again in the dryer. We had to clean the dryer lint trap halfway during the dry cycle and again after it finished. Aside from the major shrinkage, it's a very nice tablecloth. I've bought 14 so far.
