Book Synopsis

Ancient Stoic wisdom meets modern design: Marcus Aurelius's Meditations in a bold dark-mode edition with crisp white text on deep black pages, made to reduce eye strain and deepen focus.

This edition presents the foundational text of Stoic philosophy in crisp white text on deep black pages--inspired by the popular 'dark mode' reading style known to reduce eye strain and sharpen focus.

  • Striking white-on-black "dark mode" design
  • Built for focus, reflection, and reduced eye strain
  • First in the Dark Mode Classics series

Settle in, slow down, and meet a timeless guide in a whole new light.

About the Author

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus was a Stoic philosopher and Roman emperor born in 121 CE. He was adopted by, and eventually succeeded, the emperor Antoninus Pius. The last emperor in what is known as the Pax Romana, a period of relative stability and peace, he has since become known for his Meditations, reflections on his later years that were never meant for formal publication. He died in 180.
