About the Author

Siddharth Ramakrishnan, es doctor, neurocientífico y educador con más de veinte años de experiencia. Su trabajo explora el desarrollo del cerebro en animales y cómo las hormonas cerebrales se ven influenciadas por el entorno. Con un doctorado por la Universidad de Illinois y estudios posdoctorales en UCLA y la Universidad de Columbia, es profesor de biología y director del departamento de neurociencia en la Universidad de Puget Sound. Ha recibido el prestigioso premio CAREER de la National Science Foundation, así como el galardón de la Fundación W. M. Keck para llevar a cabo una iniciativa de neurocultura en su institución. Además, ha publicado en numerosas revistas científicas, incluidas Nature, Neurotoxicology, AI & Society y Experimental Biology.
