Dead Space - PlayStation 5

One of the best sci-fi horror games.

Really enjoying this one. Dark and beautiful, the lighting is exceptional. The mist fog transparencies are smooth not blocky. Really refined game 9/10

Deadspace is a must-try game!!! The remake’s graphics are incredible and the story line just as captivating. Even if you did not play the original back in 2008, give this game a try. Hoping for Deadspace 2 next!

This is what you call a remake. This is nostalgic for me when I first played the original back in 2008. The game has everything- action, survival, horror. I hope they remake part 2. That was my favorite in the series.

I’ve played the original game over a dozen times. The developers have created a masterpiece with this remake while staying true to the roots of what makes Dead Space unique and immersive. The graphics, musical score, sound effects, combat and voice acting are excellent. I also enjoyed how the game’s story was expanded on via video and text logs. The atmosphere is very eerie, creepy and intense. I’m on my fourth playthrough with the hand cannon and burnished suit that I unlocked last night after finishing the game on the impossible mode setting. It was grueling at the time but taking down necromorphs now with one shot is awesome. I’m crossing my fingers that Dead Space 2 and 3 get remade with the same level of care and attention to detail even if some changes are made. If you enjoy the horror/survival genre and/or science fiction then give this game a chance. It is a best in class experience.

Solid story, with great gameplay mechanics, and good atmosphere/setting, definitely worth it !

At the moment of this review, there are serious graphic quality issues. Image looks very pixelated and switching between quality and performance does not make a difference.
