Love the game but it has a glitch that causes the PS5 to overheat during gameplay. We typically get 20-30 of play before the PS5 shuts down on its own. Only occurs when playing this game. After looking online, it seems to be a common occurrence for both the disc and download version. Again, love the game—it’s a lot of fun to play as a family. It’s just unfortunate that it has a major glitch that hasn’t been resolved.

A must have for Gaming Families
It was whole family engaging, and extremely nostalgic. Easy enough for our gamer 5 yr old to beat in 1 week. However, challenging enough for parents to jump in and have a little fun. All in all it really did bridge the gap for gaming kids and parents. 10/10 highly reccomend

Astro Bot is an incredibly well done 3D platformer. The game is great for new and old fans of PlayStation. Older players will find tons of nostalgia as the world of PlayStation is well represented throughout the game. The game has a mix of well crafted challenging levels to simpler levels. All levels feel alive and are well done.

Too Long and Tedious
This game is too long and tedious, to the point where it is no longer fun about halfway through. The smaller, non-important levels are the most difficult and frustrating, taking hours to complete some (Splashing Sprint). This game would be much more enjoyable if you could skip certain levels, or if they didn't take themselves so seriously when creating the useless levels that shouldn't even be part of the game (the ones where you're simply rescuing one single bot and nothing more). Cut the game time in half, create a better story-line, and can the triangle, circle, square and x planets. Useless. Some of the nostalgia factors were cool though, like the Uncharted and God of War planets. All happened during the first half though so, again, game needs to be half as long. Overall, don't spend your money on this. Astro's Playroom is simply in a different league - worlds better than this Astro Bot.
