Q: What is the difference between ps5 digital edition and the ps5 console besides price ?
A: The digital version does not have a disc slot. So you will not be able to buy physical games, only digitally through the online game store.

submitted byAdp86736 - 29 days agoA: My understanding is the digital edition is meant for downloaded games only (no place to insert disc) the other console allows both downloaded games and hard copies of PS4, PS5, DVD, etc.

This listing is for the Slim version with the Blue-ray disc drive. The Slim is 30% smaller and has a larger SSD for storage. Although there were some minor technical upgrades, the overall performance is about the same and they both have the same CPU and GPU. A: It plays Blu-Ray assume it’ll play regular DVDs
