Adorable and affordable

It is delicate, but mine is lovely and very functional. I ordered mine for in store pick-up and it was on the bottom of the plastic bag under other stuff - thankfully it made it home just fine and I wasn't even that careful with it. Also, lighting it is fun and works great. I'm going to get a few more and try to refill them thru the years.

Lovely and Unique

Though I agree this item is delicate, it is also lovely and unique. I purchased two in store and both made it home intact. The cork is tight, but I was able to carefully wiggle it out without breaking the item and light the matches without incident. This accessory is a beautiful and functional addition to my coffee table and shelves.

Faulty matches

The container is cute and looks nice but the when you light a match, the whole wooden stick catches on fire within seconds instead of just the stick. You have to put it out before you catch your hand on fire and don’t have time to even light 1 wick

Thin glass, very dangerous!

Made of very thin glass, this item is dangerous and should be pulled off the shelves. I was removing the cork from the bottom and the glass “bulb” part shattered in my hand and gave me multiple deep cuts. I probably should have gotten stitches for them, but I used butterfly bandage closures. Very very dangerous. Don’t buy.

Cheap and fragile glass.

Glass is so fragile that it was broken at pick up and when the store clerk and I looked for a replacement, all but one were also broken on the store shelf. Despite carefully wrapping mine in paper and a sweater to protect it on my commute home from the store, it still managed to arrive broken. This has got to be the thinnest and cheapest glass object I’ve ever encountered. Don’t waste your money.
