I needed new bits for drilling into thick aluminum and some steel. These work better than my old bits and come in the sizes I needed. I hope they stay sharp and can keep biting into the metal. So far, they're ok.
Lousy case

I haven’t used them (I’ll assume they a good product for household projects) but I’m afraid of bending the smaller bits just to get them out and back in to their tight fitting slots. The rating is for the case - not the drill bits.
Not that great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this set a few months ago. I have been using them to drill pilot holes into my wood working pieces. 2 of them broke off in the wood. I had to get pliers to unscrew them. I wouldn't buy these again.
Product great, case is extremely inconvenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say that this review isn't about the product itself. This is about the case design that dewalt chooses to use. I own nothing but dewalt tools. I have been in various fields of construction for years and I own only dewalt tools. Day in and day out they are reliable and I really have never had any manufacturing problems with them. All in all I love and depend on your tools. The only problem I have ever had is the design of the case when it comes to any of the bit sets. I absolutely hate them. I personally own a set that has screw bits and drill bits in it and it is a constant struggle and aggravation to get a bit out with its design. Other brands (I will not name them) are designed to angle for easy access and they are awesome. Dewalt products are unmatched in my opinion but the design of their bit cases are awful.
