While it doesn’t taste anything like regular Coca-Cola, the taste is crisp enough to be quite refreshing. The flavor profile is pretty boring but the mixture of carbonation, caffeine, and sugar ends up being pretty good in small or large quantities in spite of my issues with the flavor. Definitely something I’d like to have on a hot day so have to give this a recommendation. (I was surprised too!)

I dont like that it contains aspartame. I dont like putting chemicals in my body. It doesnt taste bad honestly to me but i know the ingredients arent healthy.

Do not like the way this taste at all. It leaves a bad after taste in your mouth. If someone is used to diet drinks however they may love it. I personally do not though.

5 for taste and 1 for it being good for me! I got hooked on Diet Coke in 2003. I drink a lot of it and I mean a lot, we’re talking liters. The cans seem to taste better than the plastic bottles. If you can find a glass bottle version, they taste pretty good. Diet Coke with ice is the way to go for me, plus a few slices of lime or lemon if I can get my hands on them (Diet Coke Lime and Lemon taste awful, tried the cans and the pop machines with cartridges!) U.S. Diet Coke tastes the best to me. Coca Cola Light as it’s known in parts of South America, Europe and Asia, do taste different because of the different artificial sweeteners they use. Aspartame can’t be used in a lot of countries overseas, unfortunately the other sweeteners come across as too sweet to me, so I have a hard time when I travel abroad and can’t get my daily dose of Diet Coke. Yes, I knew about Aspartame and problems it can cause long ago and before WHO made their announcement, unfortunately I am hooked to the taste and the caffeine of Diet Coke, so much so that I even make Diet Coke Jelly with it (tastes like water downed version of Diet Coke.)
