This plastic sword makes a fun toy for Minecraft fans but I don’t understand kids carrying large items during trick or treating time or trunk or treats. It really just gets in the way. The toy is plastic and lightweight. My 8 year old daughter loves the shiny, colorful, reflective finish. The handle, while done in the style of Minecraft, could be made more ergonomically designed for a better hold. This isn’t the kind of item I buy for costumes or as a toy, but my daughter is a Minecraft fan and was interested in reviewing this. I agreed because I encourage play using her imagination.

Not only can it be used as part of a costume but can also be hung and used for display like what my son has done . It is firm, and very colorful. It isn’t sharp so safe for kids, and great for decoration if you love Minecraft like me. It does leave fingerprints very easily, however if you wipe with a cloth they come off very easily.

It's a pretty sturdy and hard plastic. It is still very lightweight for play. It was easy for my kids to hold onto and use. They had a blast running around sword fighting.

The quality is good and better than my expectations. Overall the color is pretty and I would love to buy the pickaxe as well so that I can have two of them.
