My daughter loved this to start with. It's quite big ans plasticky for my taste, but it made her happy. Well, fast forward 6 months and it no longer lights up and the battery isn't replaceable - the description says what type of battery it uses and never states that the necklace will just stop lighting up at some point leaving a sad child and no fix.

doesnt light up. cant replace battery . i went through 4 of them all poor battery.

Loved the necklaces & the quick delivery. They are for a gift & I am sure they will love them too.

Bought two and neither lit up from the start.

The necklace does not light up at all. I returned the first one and tried a replacement, but it also failed to light up. My daughter was really sad and disappointed that it didn’t work. Very unhappy with this purchase.

Beware of this product. The small starfish is detachable and is a major choking hazard. This peice became lodged in the child’s throat and thankfully we could get it out but it is extremely dangerous

The original necklace we purchased was defective from the start as it would not light up coming out of the box. We will be returning this one. Also don't appreciate how large the serial number is printed on the side of the necklace within view as others have noted.

It doesn’t work! And you literally doesn’t come apart to change the battery!

I purchased this necklace twice because I thought the first one was just defective. The first one never lit up, so I returned it and ordered another one online, hoping it would work. Unfortunately, the second one also arrived with a non-functioning light. By the time the second one arrived, my daughter had already seen it and wanted to keep it, so I couldn’t return it. To make matters worse, the batteries are not replaceable, so once it doesn’t work, there’s no way to fix it. It’s disappointing because the necklace is cute, but the light-up feature was the main reason we bought it. I would not recommend this product due to the poor quality and lack of replaceable batteries.

Purchased this is a pick up order. It had clearly been repackaged as if opened and returned and surprise, surprise…it doesn’t light up. I’m guessing that’s why it was returned the first time. My kid still loves it but it’s frustrating paying for something that doesn’t work.
