Very cute but pretty terrible quality

I bought this for pick up and it was on sale. I bought it because it's Disney Princesses and I wanted to use non-disposable material as gift wrapping. As I was wrapping the gift, I noticed several empty patches on the brand new towel. I used packing tape to gently secure the towel, but even with packing tape it shouldn't have removed so much of the material. That makes me think it wouldn't have held up against the washing machine; I didn't bother washing it because I took the towel back to get a different thing.
