Disney Princess Merida Fashion Doll

Adorable! Granddaughter loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves her Merida doll and plays with her all the time at home. The doll has reddish hair like her and is very sturdy. I’m glad the doll is very flexible as my daughter is rough with her. One thing I’m not a fan of is the headband, it keeps coming off until my daughter eventually lost it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Merida 100 year anniversary doll Disney princess collection from Mattel is very well made, good paint job on it sturdy hair is well done and good quality. Clothes on the dolls are good quality. Lovely thing for any Disney fan to have. The quality of dolls have gone up since I was child and also the packaging reduced and more eco friendly which is great.

We had not seen the movie before getting the doll, but we did as shortly thereafter. She got a kick out of being able to hold in her hands the princess that was on the TV. The articulation was great and my daughter was able to reenact, in her own way, what Princess Merida would do in the movie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hair on this doll is so great. The quality of the clothing is also good. I am glad Disney is using mattel again for its princess dolls as the other manufacturer made subpar dolls. This is the level That playline Should be made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children (5g, 3.5b, and 2g) like this Merida doll, but they do not reach for her often. The Merida doll is sturdy, with a detailed molded bodice and shirt sleeves. My oldest daughter loves the glitter in the bodice. The doll's skirt and shoes are removable. I really like that there are very few small pieces to lose. I wish that the doll had bendable joints (particularly knees). It's hard to reenact scenes from the movie when the doll movements are so limited. Also, like any doll with long hair, it is challenging to keep her hair in good condition with small children. Overall, I think this doll is good for younger children, as it can withstand not-so-gentle play, but older children might find it lacking.

My 4 year LOVES the movie so was very excited for the Princess Merida doll to arrive! The doll looks just the character in the movie, with her beautiful long red hair! If your child likes Merida I highly recommend getting this Barbie!

The top of the dress is part of the arms so you are not able to switch outfits which is unfortunate. The skirt is fabric which was nice quality. Overall the doll is fairly simple with minimal extra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disney Princess Merida doll has beautiful features for the most part. Her face is painted beautifully, outfit is gorgeous, hair is perfect. However, her painted hands are a little sloppy. My daughter however does not notice this detail and loves playing Princesses with Merida and her other dolls.

She loves the red hair and her scrappy nature. The doll is well made and has withstood being bashed and brushed and still looks great. A fantastic addition to any girl’s collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter’s first reactions was that she loves her curly, red hair and her outfit. She seems heavier that typical dolls. It’s not a bad thing, just took me by surprise. I think it’s because the corset part of her outfit doesn’t come off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our daughter, 6, was so excited to receive her Disney Princess Merida doll. She loved Merida’s long curly hair, although it was noted that her hair is quite different than her hair in the movie. The painted in bodice of the dress a quite a bit more elaborate than Merida’s movie dress as well. On this particular doll there is a fingerprint on the doll’s bodice in the paint color of her skin. Even so, our daughter is happy to add Merida to her Disney Princess Doll collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a lovely doll, they have definitely improved since I was a child! The attention to detail is beautiful from the freckles to the clothes. Some of the hair was trapped within the packaging unfortunately and pulled out, but other than that, a well made doll that is very robust and affordable.

She is perfect for young toddler girls who are just learning and need a little help with clothes and shoe dressing. It is easy to get the skirt on and off as well as the shoes slip on and stay on well. The crowns are attached which we elected to keep that way so we can find it. The fact that she has on a permanent outfit on top and bottom is huge!! This makes them easily identifiable in her full skirt outfit or “bathing suit” as we have named it. This is a wonderful introduction to fashion dolls with a story a child can relate with. My Granddaughter absolutely loves the doll and roll plays with her with the rest of her dolls.

The packaging it comes in could be better - as it was not recyclable either but that is probably the only downside. The little one loves playing with this and it has remained intact after use for a few weeks which is another factor that shows it is well built. The skin details, hair, shows and costume is again very good, so I would recommend if your little one likes playing with Disney dolls
