These Heels Miss the Point
TLDR: this set of dolls seems to not be designed for practical child’s play. Especially do not purchase if your child experiences full bodied frustration when the shoes and crown won’t stay on. Not worth the price point. Quality of clothing and accessories is poor. The overlays were tacked down on one side of the dresses but not the other, Anna’s dress was sloppily and unevenly velcroed on. Someone else commented that the accessories fall off as soon as their packaging is cut which is honestly the worst case scenario when you have a sensory-sensitive, princess crown, Elsa obsessed daughter who was SO excited to put Anna’s crown on Elsa’s head. Yeah that wasn’t going to happen. We had to put “Princess Maria”’s crown on Elsa because that one was actually designed to stay on! By the way, Princess Maria is from the dollar store and I’d argue that the clothing/accessory quality is nearly identical. I’m not even going to get into the sensory nightmare of trying to put on/play with Anna’s shoes. The picture speaks for itself. I get it, these seem like minor nit-picky details about a doll’s presentation but for some kids the play is in the presentation. Also, this is MATTEL brand bought at TARGET for $30+!!! The quality of the plastic molding/painting of the body parts is really nice, but the accessories (the only parts of real importance to making it a functioning toy for kids) are not well constructed. What on earth happened to those shoes????? Yikes. When name brands like Mattel are cutting corners on quality this drastically, to the degree that it’s hard to distinguish between their product and the dollar store, I think it’s pretty clear what is important to these large corporations and it sure doesn’t seem like it is making a quality, or even usable, toys for children to actually play with. What are we doing here people? We live in a country that makes us believe it is a true privilege, yet simultaneously an expectation (to be considered a worthwhile member of this “society” aka market/economy), to afford: -health insurance premiums paid to companies who ultimately have the power to override our doctor’s decision making by refusing to cover our medical procedures when it comes down to it, just so they don’t have to spend more money than they deem our lives are worth. -apartment rent that is on average 50% of your monthly income in some places. 50%. -mortgages? Not worth mentioning. Keep dreaming, you’ll be paying your landlord for life. Also, that is the money you’ll be spending on daycare every month for one kid. -food prices that are definitely not going up. Stop asking. Inflation isn’t real, it’s over. Why are you still talking about it?! Maybe you should stop buying your Starbucks, you, overindulgent glutton. Make better life choices, this is really your fault. -And in my case, toys like this. Name brand of name brand bought at name brand store at a premium price. A special occasion treat for my *only* daughter’s birthday. It’s obviously fiscally irresponsible to have more children in order to promote play and build community in her life, so I went with dolls this time. Do I feel good about all of this? Not really. Well at least I know I got what you deserved in the eyes of corporate America. These shoes.

Nice except Anna's hair
Lovely dolls. Just got them so can’t speak on longevity, but minus one star cause Anna’s hair is cut short by the braid and sticks out. It upsets my daughter and honestly, bothers me as well lol. Photos are of the doll straight out of the box! Not sure if they are all like this or if I should try to return.

Dolla
Very cute and fun for my girls but the hair in Anna gets messed up very easily. Maybe that comes with the Barbie territory.

I recommend!
My daughter loves them! Great price for both. Only slight negative is their hair lol. Elsa's came out of the box crazy 😅 also don't let your child undo Anna's hair, I don't think it is actually a full head of hair, it's meant to be in a bun! Also one side of Elsa's cape thing ripped off pretty easily, but that's kind of to be expected!

Meh
For a thirty dollar toy, you would not expect the company to cut as many corners as they did, but given the dolls currently on the market, these are pretty cheap. Clothes are just a pattern printed onto a single piece of fabric, all accessories immediately fall off if you cut the plastic ties, etc. My kids will still play with them, but honestly kind of disappointing.

Not worth the price
My daughter has had this toy for a month. She was playing with Elsa today and her foot fell out of her leg. There is no way to snap it back on. Her cape also ripped within 2 weeks of having her.

Good quality dolls
My 2 year old daughter loves Frozen, she already has the Anna and Elsa doll from the first Frozen movie, so I know she'll love these too. Clothes are removable, I would say the Mattel brand are the best quality when it comes to the princess Barbie dolls.

Awful quality
Horrible quality. These are the cheap all hard plastic dolls that don’t bend at the joint and it’s super stiff to even move the arms up and down. Elsa’s foot broke off within a few days. The clothing is also cheap. For the price I paid I expected much better quality. This was a birthday gift for my daughter but I’m super disappointed in the quality. The Disney dolls you get at Disneyland and Disney store are much better quality and worth the price.
