Q: Can you use for male dogs, and what size would you recommend for a frenchie thats around 40 lbs.
submitted by Pinkylady - 3 years ago
A: Hello Pinkylady - Thanks for asking. These dog diapers are unisex. Our best guidance is to try the Medium based on the weight. Really great information like this can be found in the 'Size Charts' connected to each item on Target.com. Hope this is what you're looking for. - Matt

A: i just got these for my male dog. they do not fit male dogs. his parts hang out.
submitted byDanyelle - 2 years ago
A: These do not work for male dogs. You need to buy them the male wraps or bands.
submitted byMom of 2 - 2 years ago
A: I have been using the small size for a while for my 10 pound senior male poodle and they have been the best price and fit so far in comparison to other places. I just wish the package had more than 18 diapers.

A: Can these be used fir a dog after she is fixed ?
submitted byGran - 7 months ago
A: I have a 5 pound male poodle and it doesn’t cover his part. I purchased xs as per package. Would I be able to return it. I only use one diaper.

A: I have a female in heat but is housebroken are these re sealable tabs to take on and off to go potty
submitted byOrchids - 1 year ago
Q: Is this diaper can holds poohs too?
submitted by Che - 2 years ago
A: No, it's not ideal for bowel movements as the hole for the tail is too large so it will spoil out of the diaper. It doesn't matter the size you buy, it's going to happen. If that is your concern, get a large pen instead and lay out dog pads inside the dog pen along with a bed or open crate on the opposite side so they have space for both. I do this indoors in a space that's 15x15 ft. so the pen is about 8x8ft. giving my pup lots of room.
submitted byTheGrandDame - 1 year ago
A: I thought it would but after seeing a little present on the floor I examined her tail area (the hole where the tail comes out) and realized it’s not covered at all. I’m needing these more for potty training she’s a white mini Pomeranian so I can’t let her in the yard when it rains or is muddy. Great for peeing not for pooping lol

Q: What color will the indicator change to when wet ?
submitted by Anaid57 - 2 years ago
A: Light yellowwill be the wet color. But it's very hard to see. Just feel for wetness like you would an infants diaper. If you don't like that, smell for urine as dog urine is very pungent. If you don't like that, lightly tap the urine area of the diaper with your index finger and if it's wet you'll hear it 'thunk' or it would feel heavy to the touch. If none of these work for you, return the dog to the gettin' place!
submitted byTheGrandDame - 1 year ago
Q: If I opened the package and only used one and it didn’t help, could I bring it in and exchange it for what I need?
submitted by Megan - 2 years ago
A: Yes, the simple answer. They just send them back to the manufacturer anyway so it doesn't really matter that much to Target. But TRY to buy the right size in the first place as measurements are right on the UNOPENED package.

Q: I want dogs poo to come out of the diaper. She needs them for pee. Can I cut the tail hole a little bigger to achieve this
or is there padding all the way to the tail hole so it can't be cut?
submitted by Rainingkidsanddogs - 4 years ago
A: Hello Rainingkidsanddogs - Thanks for reaching out. We do not recommend alterations to the product because we can no longer guarantee the quality or integrity of the diaper if changes are made to it. We hope this information is helpful! - Matt

A: If you purchase the right size, there's no way it would catch the dogs feces. It doesn't catch it bc the hole size is too big anyways.

Q: I have a German shepherd in heat and weighs 72 lbs, will the L/XL be too big
submitted by PC - 1 year ago
A: Hi PC - Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in Dog Diapers. No, the L/XL dog diaper will likely be too big for your 72-lb German Shepherd, and the Medium size is probably a better fit. I hope this helps - Emma

Q: How often should these diapers be changed?
submitted by Kel - 1 year ago
A: Hello Kel - Thank you for your question on Dog Diapers. When it appears to be Light yellow it will be the wet color. But it's very hard to see. Just feel for wetness like you would an infants diaper. If you don't like that, smell for urine as dog urine is very pungent. If you don't like that, lightly tap the urine area of the diaper with your index finger and if it's wet you'll hear it 'think' or it would feel heavy to the touch. I hope this helps. Have a great day - Pavan
The product has received mixed feedback from guests, with many praising its absorbency and fit for smaller dogs, while others express frustration over sizing inaccuracies and durability issues. Guests appreciate the comfort and effectiveness for managing incontinence in dogs, especially for senior pets. However, concerns about the tabs breaking and diapers slipping off have been frequently mentioned, indicating a need for improved quality control. Overall, it serves well for specific needs but may not be reliable for all dogs.

Too small for my lean 75 pound Lab. Lower half fit but the top half didn’t come up far enough, so his privates weren’t covered.

0 STARS - DO NOT BUY
These are actually the worst thing I have ever purchased. The sizing is wrong and the tabs is completely break off so you might as well not even waste your money because they won’t stay on your dog for longer than two minutes might as well just throw your money away if you’re gonna buy these.

( she broke 4 of this diaper in 3 hours )

Dissapponted in quality
I used to buy these all the time because they’re the only ones that fit my dog. The quality of them changed. I went through 2 bags because one side of the straps kept breaking off.

Waste of Money
These diapers are completely useless. The fasteners break immediately so they cannot stay on your dog. I bought two packs, opened them immediately, and literally threw my money away.

These were the first doggy diapers I tried, live and learn. They fall off no matter how tightly I fasten them. The hole for the tail is not elastic so poop leaks out. Completely useless!

They've changed!! Terrible, terrible
This used to be my favorite diaper to use for my dog with urinary incontinence. Since they’re readjustable, I could take them off to let my dog out to potty and put them back on if they weren’t soiled yet. Now, the way the fasteners are adhered to the diaper has changed. It doesn’t even last 6 hours before breaking and falling off my dog. I now need to find a new diaper for my dog because these are now useless.

The cutout goes around the tail and the hole so you might as well get the wraps instead of the diapers.

Dont waste your money - poor quality
Quality has gone down! We normally get these diapers but this time around we went through a whole bag in 2 days because the tabs kept ripping. Our dog would walk or barely stand up and they would just fall off. Target, go back to the old manufacturing!
