Description

    It smells so warm and sweet and not migraine sugary sweet just comforting cozy kind I love it. I initially went to target to buy the vanilla tease one since I liked it, but then saw other samples and this one was my top 1, the others were too smoky burnt incense like for me.

    vanilla skin>

    this is a good "impression" on P:VS, HOWEVER, it is missing the warmth that vanilla skin has. vanilla skin is a warm vanilla, slightly spiced (to me) and slight sweetness. There is depth to the scent. Powdery Vanilla is also slightly sweet with a mild warm to it. Here is the biggest difference between the two: vanilla skin feels lived in and reminds me of a cozy cashmere sweater whereas powdery vanilla is "fresh/clean" and talc like. I do prefer Vanilla skin overall, BUT I will be keeping dossier. I think it will be a good vanilla for me around cooler months. I will use Vanilla Skin for the colder months and holidays.

    perfect vanilla

    I smelled all the other dupes thinking they sounded nice and was repulsed by all of them. This one I instantly purchased. To me it's the perfect vanilla alone or combined with other fragrances. It smells more realistically vanilla than the other chemical, artificial vanilla scents. Will use and buy again!

    Ii have never smelled the original. I enjoy trying all of Dossier's perfumes. This one had good reviews so I thought I’d try it like powder and vanilla.. I know it’s unisex so I knew it wasn’t a super feminine fragrance. It’s just not for me. It wasn’t horrible. It just didn’t give that “Oh! you smell so good!” Vibe. It just didnt knick my socks off . So I returned it. I have to be selective with what I keep because I have quite the Dossier collection. And some of my favs are their original scents!

    Doesn't last long

    I got this because I have the Phlur version and go through it quickly because it fades on me. I was hoping this one would last longer. It smells close but definitely less vanilla. Lasts an hour or two then drifts away.

    I got this today with the 11ml Ambery Saffron Duo. it smells amazing! this is my next favorite after Orchid & Sandalwood at dusk.. I love it.

    I thought I wouldn’t like this, mostly because I’m so picky. But this reminds me of Donna Karan’s Vanilla Cashmere. It’s light and pretty with a 28% oil concentration! It smells like marshmallows.

    Favorite Everyday Scent

    Fell in love with this scent at first smell, and it’s been a daily go-to for me ever since. Lasts all day on me, even sometimes sticks around for day 2, and I’ve already been getting complimented on my scent with people asking what I’m wearing. My favorite scents to layer with this as well are EOS Vanilla Cashmere or Fine’ry Fireside Vanille, but it’s SO good even on its own.
