As a parent, I would have appreciated knowing that this book includes a scene where two characters of the same gender kiss. Im sharing this for parents who prefer to preview relationship content before choosing books for their children. There is nothing graphic, but it may not align with every family’s values. I recommend reviewing the book beforehand to determine whether it is a good fit for your child.

I read this book when I was around 11 and I loved it so much. I don't think that homosexuality is a big problem in this book because it is something that kids see in their everyday life, so I would just make sure kids understand what it is so they don't get confused. <3

I’m sure it’s a good book for pre teenagers, but it’s not for 9 year old kids in 4th grade elementary. I don’t recommend it for that age. I had to returned it!

I love that this book shows kids amongst their peers in real life scenarios, including that it depicts homosexual relationships. Homosexual relationships are everywhere, and just because they are homosexual doesn't make it perverted or inappropriate like some reviewers are saying. Families and relationships look many different ways and this book isn't preaching, it's just showing reality <3.

This is an amazing book

This is labeled for 9+ but the content is too mature for elementary students.

I like how this was well written and the characters were really well scripted. I'd reccomend this book to whover likes to read about Igtbq and likes comics.

Really awful when they sneak homosexuality into a book for a 8 year old. Not okay. Why do they need to push this so hard on kids that’s are so young.

My daughter has loved most these books. Unfortunately this book discusses Homosexuality. Not appropriate for a 10 year old, parents should be advised.

What I liked about it is the story going through a girl’s perspective through her middle school life. I fell through this book a sad, romantic, funny, and some parts that bug me. Overall, I just love the story.

My kid loves this book. Had it read in no time.

Content is not appropriate for my 9 year old. Sexuality is discussed by the characters, this is not something I’m ready to introduce my child to.
