Dritz Sewing Box Kit

I bought this try try to talk my mom into repairing a couple things, I done see. A little odd it doesn’t come with thread. I bought some lil value packs of thread to add to the kit and I think she likes it better now.

My daughter wanted to learn to sew small things like a button and this kit is a perfect starter kit for her. I loved that it has a tape measure, pin cushion, needles, pins, shears, seam ripper, white marking pencil, ruler and a pin magnet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dritzs Sewing Box Kit is perfect for ANY project. I have used it multiple times in less than a week. It has a glorious seam ripper that I’ve used to take hems out of pants that were too short, I have used the magnetic needle jar and the polar oriented pin holder as well as the cherry tomato pin cushion. I measured my son for new work pants with the measuring tape and I’ve used the INCREDIBLY WELL MADE SHEARS several times for cutting of fabrics and threads. This kid is perfect for anyone. It’s great for the car, for the office and even for the most advanced of seamsters, as they are tools needed for all sewing projects. The compartments are excellent for holding threads and thimbles and such. I even would like to give one to my teen daughter for things that she would use it for such as buttons or distressing clothing. This is a must have for all ages and all projects. Perfect for just about any project, big or small, advanced or beginner

This is perfect for beginners or more experienced sewists. The container includes the following: shears, for cutting fabric. A magnet, glass head pins,steam ripper. Hand needles, Needle storage tube, tape measure, a double sided ruler, pencils to mark on the fabric, cherry tomato pin cushion to store your favorite pins & needles. This is exactly what I needed. I’ve always watched my grandmother sew when I was a little girl and now that I purchased it, now I see why everyone enjoys it. It’s very relaxing but it can be a lot of work. If you enjoy sewing then this will be perfect for you! I highly recommend this product.

It containing all the basics for any level sewist. I like that the shears are a large 8 ½ “ and not some small compact size. It would make a great gift for anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was slightly worried that the quality of these products was going to be cheap, but they do not disappoint. The scissor alone are worth it! They are heavy duty, hold up to all different fabrics and are a cute teal color. The magnetic pin holder is genius, or you can stick to the traditional pin cushion. Additionally I love the needle holder - for the first time ever I won't loose my needles or have to stick them back into a small cardboard holder. Whether you're brand new to sewing, or a seasoned veteran looking to add to your stock, this kit is the way to go!
