Fiskars Sewing Travel Kit

Waste of money. The quality of everything is bad. Wish I could take back, but I don't have packaging.

The needles are so small and cheap they’re almost impossible to thread and then they are literally impossible to use on anything thicker than a thin piece of material.

There are no needles included despite the packaging indicating there are 3.

Buttons in the kit where way too small. Bought this to fix a pair of pants thinking I would get a good sized button

I love how compact it is. I can keep it in my purse. The Collapsible scissors are awesome!

Make sure you look what’s inside the case. While the label on the package said it comes with 3 needles, 1 needle threader, 4 pins, 2 safety pins, 4 buttons, 1 measuring tape, thread & scissors the kit I bought only had thread, a measuring tape, and scissors. No needles, pins, or buttons to be found.

Some complained of not having a needle in their kit, but mine did thankfully. I think it would have been more useful to have at least two needles even for a travel size packet. I do agree with one reviewer that the hole in the needle is VERY small but I did my best to wet the thread to get it as flat and straight as possible and was able to get it through the needle hole after just a couple of attempts. Overall I think this is a very handy kit. I only used the scissors twice to cut thread pieces and it worked just fine for that purpose.

Perfect little travel sewing kit. Scissors are great also and sturdy.

No needles !! Ugh what the heck. Everything else is there, but no needles which is the thing I needed most.

Love this little kit. Great for travel and is tsa approved so you don’t have to worry about that. Also the scissors are actually usable!

Perfect size sewing kit to stick in a backpack. The plastic case seems like it will stay securely closed. The only problem I've noticed so far is that the scissors have to fold to fit into the box. The joints are very tight and it's difficult to unfold and fold the scissors - meaning the quick fixes I'd be doing with this travel kit will take longer, and I'm more likely to cut myself wrestling with these scissors.

Needle holes are too small to fit the thread through. Package of needles is hard to open.

…and it DIDNT HAVE ONE! The only thing I wanted/needed was the sewing needle, and I decided to get this product because I liked that it was very compact and that it came with a “needle” but it didn’t have ONE!

The best part is the travel scissors! I needed a travel sewing kit, but the scissors are by far the best part. Comes with a few pins, needles, scissors, and thread. Perfect.

Only needed the scissors so far when I traveled a little hard to fold the scissors back up but worth the price

Unless people are trying to sew concrete, I’m confused on why there are a handful of negative reviews. During a business trip, the hem of my dress pants in the crotch region unraveled. Fortunately, we were near a Target and I was able to patch up my hole in under 20 minutes. Definitely will keep this in my carry-on moving forward!
