A: My daughter is 6 and the seat is clear up so there is plenty of room.

Q: My grandson is having a problem with his trike. When he holds down the accelerator button the bike will start but then shuts off and on sporadically. We have tried to contact Customer Service and have have had no response.

Q: How does the accelerator button work?

A: Hi Pat! While sitting on the Romper and holding onto the handles, kids can access the accelerator button by using their thumb to press down on the button. When they release their thumb from the accelerator, the Romper will safely roll to a stop.

A: Hi Mike! Thank you for your question. The Romper will slowly and safely roll to a stop once the accelerator button is released. With the parental speed control setting, you're able to set the maximum speed to 3 MPH or 6 MPH depending on your preference and the child's abilities. We hope this is helpful. This is our third Droyd product (3 kids will do this to you), and our 3 year old just won't get off this thing. He rides it until the battery dies and then we charge it and he's back on it again. Assembly instructions could have been a bit easier, but I had it together in about 15 minutes and he could not be happier. Highly recommended.
So FUN! The best toy for 3 year olds and up!

The trike itself is incredibly sturdy and well-built and my 3 year old daughter managed to move around it quickly and got the hang of it and now spends hours zipping around the yard with the biggest smile on her face. She LOVES it so much!

Love the nostalgia of a big wheel. Takes me back to my childhood days. My son and daughter love that the bike drifts and they do mini burnouts. The seat is adjustable so both kids can take turns comfortably. Well worth the buy.

We ordered one for Christmas and it lasted and few months before we had an issue with the pegs in the front. I called and they said they can't send individual parts, but they will send a new tricycle out. They sent out a motor instead of the bike. Its impossible to get in touch with them by phone and they will not answer emails anymore.

We loved this, but only used a few times before it stopped working. It seems to be an electrical issue/defect. The trike lights will turn on, but if you press the button to drive, it won’t drive anymore. Very disappointing.

Rarely write a review but since it's a child's toy I feel obligated. 1. This thing is dangerous, feet slip off pegs which could result in broken ankle, also the handle bars are too close to face. My grandson bashed his mouth against them within the first hour. We talked with him and told him to sit back and not to lean forward. 2 poor quality. Second day 4 year old rode it back wheel stopped turning, took back off of it and the little stopper that hold the rear axcel together broke. Returned to store and got another safer item. Walk away.

Do not buy this product. The company is purposely manufacturing faulty parts. I spoke with a “Rocky.” He told me that they know there is an issue with the small black plastics pieces that go on the big wheel. The piece will not go flush. He told me to take the washer out and only have one and loosen one side to tighten the other. I asked him why they were manufacturing faulty products. He mentioned that when the cold air hits the plastic it makes it too big. They said they hope to get it fixed in the next couple months. I asked why they are sending out broken product. He said “we have too many made and sale to put out the non faulty ones.” So this company is shady. He legit told me to take it back to the store and wait a couple months and repurchase if I wanted the product that isn’t broken. I’m sorry you shouldn’t be putting out a faulty product. I asked if they could send me the pieces once it’s resolved. He said no there are too many broken units to replace them for everyone. WHAT!? He couldn’t even guarantee that their “fix” would hold. WHAT!?

My 3 and 5 and a half year old boys LOVE these. The first one took less than 45 minutes to assemble. The second one took 10 and they charge relatively quickly. They do not need a lot of room to ride and enjoy them. We had hours of fun in our driveway. I think if the grass is cut short and they are set to the higher setting they will work fine on the grass. We cannot be happier with this purchase. Hope the battery and charging mechanism last for a long time!

Our little guy was a natural, he was able to ride it as soon as he sat down. Super easy to use. I really like that it has a key that sets the maximum speed making it safer to ride. Also, a seat that adjusts so that it grows with them.

Why pedal when you don’t have to? Our kids, 8 and 4, can’t get enough of this e-trike! They’re doing doughnuts and drifting all over the place, and can’t stop grinning! I truly envy them because I wish this was around when I was a kid! Overall, the Droyd Romper was straight forward to assemble, with an easy-to-follow and detailed manual, and best of all, all tools were provided as well! It took about 20-25 minutes to assemble. Having 2 speeds is also a plus, 3 and 6 mph, as our 4 year old is only comfortable with 3mph, but our 8 year old rips it at 6 mph! If you’re looking to get a big wheel for a kid, keep up with the times at get this! The joy on the kids faces when they take of on this thing are priceless!

Easy to put together, tools included, rides very stable and super responsive. Our girls, 3 and 6 years old, love riding this Romper and as parents, super fun just to follow them around the neighborhood. Great way to go outdoors, enjoy fresh air and get some steps in. The flag and lights are great safety features too.
