I bought this Kanoodle Junior for my 4year old granddaughter, to try and encourage her to spend a few minutes each day sitting quietly and concentrating on completing a puzzle . I was so delighted that she immediately wanted to try and accomplish as many as possible of the puzzles on Kanoodle Jnr ….although I limited the amount of time she spent on it . She has taken the puzzle with her to ;gymnastics, on the train, and in the car. The tough carry case enables her to take her puzzle with her and keep the pieces together. Her big sister (7 year) now bargains with her to share the puzzle as she loves it too!
Compact and interesting for kids; doesn't line up properly

The kids are having fun with it and it's awesome for travel. Both my 3 year old and 7 year old are engaged, although I think it's a little on the easy end for the older child. My complaint is the booklet pages don't line up with the holes. It would be such an easy fix for the manufacturer and I don't know how a mistake like that could have happened in the first place since it's pretty simple to see the problem the first time you use it. Very distracting to see parts of some colors in other slots. If this problem was fixed this would be a great gift to regularly give to parents to keep in cars.

The game itself has it's merits and would make a young child use their brain however the puzzle book is very flimsy and cheap and in most cases does not line up with the squares of the puzzle frame when placed under it. Separate pages would be a much better solution and more durable. The puzzle and pieces will far outlast the instruction book that comes with it.
I wish there were more of the challenging levels in the book

I bought this game for a gift at a birthday party for my kid's friend. I also bought for my kid because it looks great (and travels well). My kid, who is 5, did all of the hardest puzzles in the booklet in an afternoon. There are many of the one or two star puzzles and they were very easy for him, and he quickly moved on to the harder ones.
If there is a follow up booklet of the harder levels, I would absolutely buy it. Does it exist?
Perfect way to keep kids occupied at home or on the go!

My 4 year old absolutely loves this game! She likes doing puzzles so we own a lot of puzzles already but I love how this is a critical thinking and problem solving game that includes 60 puzzle challenges that she can do for years to come. It is such a bonus when she is having fun and learning while playing! It comes with 3 different types of puzzles and although my 4 year old is doing the color matching puzzles we have been playing it a little different and not inserting the booklet into the case (& just putting it next to the case) so I love that it is an even greater challenge for her and she is loving it! The instruction guide includes clear instructions on how to play each type of puzzle. This game comes in a portable case which is so durable that we will most definitely be taking this on our next trip. I am always looking for different ways to keep my kids occupied on the airplane or on a road trip so this will definitely keep my 4 year old busy for hours! I think this is also good to take when going out to eat at a restaurant to keep the kids occupied while waiting for the food to come out or even at the doctor's office! I highly recommend this product for your kids!

Our 4yr old loves this game. We play together and she likes to do it by herself. The shapes are hard plastic so it won't break easily.

My daughter was just a little shy of 4 when I gave this puzzle to her. Because the puzzles start easy and gradually get more challenging, my daughter was able to get it very quickly. At first she didn't understand that she could flip a piece to make it fit and would get frustrated. I told her "Try flipping it", "try a different piece first," "try turning it" and let her figure it out. Some puzzles are more challenging but when she figures it out and the look on her face is priceless. I love that it comes in a compact carrying case, perfect for restaurants and traveling. It's nice to see her so focused on something, that's not a screen. One things is in some lighting, the pink and red in the book are hard to tell apart.

I purchased Kanoodle Jr. for my 4-year-old and my 6-year-old who both enjoy puzzles. I wasn't sure how they would do with Kanoodle Jr., I thought maybe the concept might be too hard for them, but they took to it immediately! I love how it comes with a booklet that inserts right into the case, and challenges them to finish the puzzle. I'm also a fan of how the challenges start easy and gradually get harder. The way they have designed it, assures that kids will be able to understand what the challenge is asking them to complete. This is also the perfect size to throw in a bag or keep in the car for some fun on the go! I would definitely recommend this to any parent whose child enjoys puzzles. It keeps kids engaged and entertained!

I gave this to my four-year old and put in the first puzzle, and she was off! After about four of the easiest puzzles she was already asking for more difficult ones (while her eight-year old sister was BEGGING to use it!). They both used it until bed time and and woke up and couldn't wait to use it again.
I love that there are no batteries, all of the puzzles are in a booklet (as opposed to single cards), and compact enough not to take up a lot of space.

There are 75 different sheets of puzzle to complete using 6 colored pieces. Our 3 year old had fun completing all the puzzles especially the latter more challenging ones. The game comes in an easy to carry case. The instruction and puzzle sheet book fits nicely into the case. Game is great to take on travel or trips to the restaurant. Only comment is that it's a bit a pain to have to fold each page of the puzzle sheet. Would have made it easier it if it's a spiral book design where you can slide into the case. Also the suggested age for the game is 4 to 7 but we felt it's probably best for 3 to 5 year old as the puzzles are too easy for older kids.

We love this game! It was very portable, which was great for my family. It is easily adaptable to multiple children because of the range of difficulty of the game. I love that it is educational, while still being fun for the children. I love this product!

My class was so excited to get Kanoodle Jr. Our first impression of the game was the it was very colorful and inviting. We really liked how the pieces are large and easy to grasp. The game directions are well written and the levels are clearly marked on each game. We enjoyed the variety of puzzle themes (rockets, popsicles, dinosaurs, doughnuts ect.) this kept the game exciting and engaging. The only thing I will be changing to meet the needs of our preschool will be to laminate the puzzles to accommodate all of the little hands that will be using them daily. I love all of the skills my preschoolers will get to practice while using this game!
Now this is a game that will hold your child's attention!

My daughter (5 1/2) loves this game! She needed a little help the first few times, but after explaining to her the different puzzle types, she was ready to play on her own. This game holds her attention for long spans of time which is great for long drives in the car! The book that accompanies the game has many puzzles that range from easy to challenging. My daughter and I love this game!

I bought this for my 2.5 year old son. He is so proud that he knows his colors so this game was the perfect addition to work on his tactile skills. I love that it's portable and is easy to wipe clean! His daddy and mommy may have had fun playing as well! 😉
