Book Synopsis

The Devling King's forces are spreading across Florespark, and the heroes at the center of the event are pushed to their limits as the fighting spills beyond the city, into the rest of Texas--and beyond. The scale of the threat becomes clear in this issue: this is no longer a local incursion. It's a conflict that will reshape the world, and every corner of the Rippaverse line is being pulled into it.

The second chapter of the four-issue main event series. Exclave #1 drew the line in the sand; #2 is where it breaks. Each of the line's character one-shots from the fall now continues as a three-issue tie-in arc running parallel to the main series through spring--every one readable on its own, all of them feeding the same war. What broke open in Florespark in November is now everyone's problem--and the heroes are learning the hard way how deep the Devling King's plans go. The main series continues in Exclave #3 (3/23/27).

About the Author

Eric July is a writer, musician, and the founder of Rippaverse Publishing. As vocalist of BackWordz, former vocalist of Fire From the Gods (where he shaped the band's metalcore-with-hip-hop sound), and host of live-stream features, he built a creative platform--combined audience 1.2M followers across social channels--that culminated in launching Rippaverse in 2022 with Isom #1, one of the most successful pre-order campaigns in independent comics history. He is the creator of Yaira, Bloodruth, and Alphacore, and the writer of Isom, Norfrica: Glorious Death, Salvage: Lethal Force, Salvage: Exclave, Saoirse #1, Santwan: Exclave, and the Vassie picture-book series, plus co-writer of Yaira: Frost & Ruin (with Carrow Brown). He leads creative direction across the Rippaverse line. He lives in Dallas, Texas.
