I picked up a grocery order after work, brought it home and started unloading. The container of grapes was sitting in a white liquid. I decided to give Target my best thoughts and began washing the grapes. What I saw next were white chunks all over the grapes. So totally disgusting. Oh, and my raw ground beef was in a bag with my bananas. I was so looking forward to a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich but at that point I was concerned about that part of my order too.

Be aware: Pepper found on grapes.
I found pepper on my grapes, which caused me to cough and burned my throat. I immediately spit it out. This raises a serious food safety concern, especially since I could be allergic to pepper. I am also confused about how there was pepper on the grapes in the first place. I notified Target about the issue, and they apologized and submitted a report to the manager on my behalf. I also received a refund. However, this has been an ongoing problem, and I want to raise awareness so that others are cautious when buying grapes.
