Faction Havoc Gel Bead Blaster

This gun was worth every penny with it have some of the best fps and magazines capacity of any gun. The app was really quick and easy and I only had to use it once. I would 100% recommend this gun.

I’d say a hidden gem among gel blasters this toy doesn’t get the attention it deserves. I’ve purchased 4 of them, the drone and turret and pistol all of which need to be unlocked using the Faction App (IOS or Android), then can be used separately without the app or with for the different game modes! Each blaster comes with a target which required 3 AAA batteries and works for target practice and different battle modes. I was blown away by the features and performance. These blasters have performance and accuracy. With single shot mode, burst mode, or full auto you can play anyway you like. The blasters charge via USB C and have a great quality build to them. I’m telling you hidden gem get one! You won’t be disappointed. Got mine during Black Friday when price was slashed in half! Great deal.

Wouldn’t connect through the app after hours of troubleshooting. Unable to shoot the gun even once. Very little customer service support to resolve issues.

Bought for our son for Christmas, and it never worked. So disappointing! The company appears to be fraud; their website says it’s down. Don’t waste your money on this one!

Doesn’t work. Just got this, brand new. Paired to app as instructed while it was changing. Soaked the beads to use and shoot and now the device won’t even turn on - despite being fully charged.

I was pleased with this device. It is bluetooth enabled for easier syncing. Has an app but as i have mentioned with other models ALWAYS take caution by wearing saftey glasses and gear. It can save an eye, literally! My family and I had a great summer with this. Only 1 complaint or maybe not a complaint as much as a learning experience. Make sure to not just put regular old orbis. It WILL jam!

Fun to shoot without any of the games/app integrated. As soon as we tried to set up a game and pair it with the drone the app is stuck "Installing updates". Terrible app and left with me with some disappointed boys.

My teenage son loves this gun. It’s fun to play with, and the lights add a coolness factor. It’s a step up from Nerf guns, which at this point feel too “little kid” to him (even though he secretly still enjoys them). He also likes messing with the beads, lol. Maybe it’s a sensory thing, but he keeps the beads in a bowl and runs his hand through them. He says it’s relaxing. The only issue is that the beads come everywhere if you’re not careful!

This is a review of the Faction Battle System as a whole. We bought 6 Havocs and 2 Sentinels. Overall a good product, especially at the price. With work this will be amazing and revolutionary in the market of gel blasters, but there are a few minor bugs that really hold it back from its full potential right now. Pros- The blasters themselves are pretty solid. Heavy duty plastic, pretty decent range and reliable performance. The mags under the gun with the rotory hopper is a huge improvement and helps with aiming. The guns also come with everything you need to play (ammo, charger, beacon, even safety glasses) and are mostly charges out of the box. The true innovation of this product is the app; which allows users to track teammates, count hits, set area boundaries, set number of lives, change game modes, control and utilize the target drones and becons, etc. The RC sentinel turrets are really creative and different from most other blasters. Gameplay feels intense but isn't painful like airsoft or paintball and the round burst on impact and completely disintegrate, leaving virtually no trace. Cons- The app still needs a lot of work. When using anything with the newest IOS version, (17.1) the app hangs open and crashes when you connect the gun and an earbud at the same time (iOS 12-16 work fine). The voice chat often doesn't function or works improperly (e.g. talks the the wrong team) and devices will randomly disconnect mid game. As far as the blasters themselves, some minor design changes would be nice. The hit button, used the self report hits, is exposed on the bottom of the gun and easy to inadvertently hit when at the prone or in a supported firing position. The blasters use usb-c to charge, and the batteries are rechargeable but not removed from the gun, meaning they can't be easily replaced as they wear out. The usb chargers are finicky, often disconnecting randomly and don't work with half of my bricks. It would be nice if they used a removable battery with a Tamiya charger like most airsoft guns. Overall, worth the buy and I plan on purchasing more in the future. I hope they keep improving the app.

My son and I really enjoyed this! Very good quality! Has color changing lights and different modes to shoot. The gun comes with a lot of gel beads to use for long play. It also comes with a stand for practice. Very realistic. The one downfall is the beads do sting and do cause welps. I would definitely recommend the glasses they provide and long pants and sleeves!

The rifles are well built and look great. There's a good weight to the gun and construction makes for a real study feel. The magazine resting on the bottom side of the gun looks sleek and way better than the top loaded guns. This also clears up the sights instead of having a big reservoir blocking your sight. The gun comes with 3 firing modes; single, 3 round burst, and automatic/continuous shots. The switch controlling the modes don't quite line up with the icons on the gun, but isn't a big deal.

Loads of fun. Had difficultly getting the app to recognize the beacon so used the Havoc without using the app. The Blaster range of 140ft is legit. Blaster comes with more than enough beads for tons of fun. Beads do fire at very rapid speed, almost too fast for the eye to see until they hit their target, so be extra careful not to direct blaster at a human or an animal as to avoid injury. A lot of fun, would definitely recommend for any teen or adult.

The idea of this blaster is great, but it is inconsistent with the execution. The beads tended to come apart after being shot. We left the beads in overnight and I'm not sure if they dried out or what happened, but it would only fire maybe 1 out of 15 times we tried to shoot it. I think if use all of the beads in one sitting, it would work much better!

This blaster brought so much enjoyment to the whole family. We used it along side the turret and the drone which comes separately. It is very easy to use and to fill with the beads. It comes with safety goggles and 5000 regular beads and 500 glow in the dark ones. You can use it alone or with the drone to try and shoot it out of the air. It comes with tripods and a beacon so you can practice. Make sure to download the app. The gun is rechargeable and charges up in less than two hours.

The havoc bead blaster is so much fun! Its really powerful and has a nice weight to it. Its a lot of fun for the kids when they can use the app to track each other and chat amongst the teams but its also fun off the app if you just want to do regular target practice. Definitely wear the safety glasses when playing because of its power. Its easy to refill, easy to charge and easy to use. Great summer fun!

My kids were so excited to open this up. Takes a little while to get everything set up but when you do it's awesome. App works pretty well got guns and other accessories connected pretty quick . Gun is really loud and looks very expensive and nice . Would recommend.

Our kids LOVE using nerf-style guns but that shoot water beads!! They could NOT wait to play with these. Soaking the water beads takes 3+ hours. It surprised me to see that these were smaller than the typical water beads they play with. But I think that makes them sturdier and less likely to break/clog. Speaking of clogs, I assumed they’d be common, but we haven’t had one issue with clogging at all! Couldn’t recommend this style “gun” more- they LOVE this!! * this is the bigger version of the water bead gun- I’d say 7-8 year olds could manage this easily! It’s not that it’s hard to shoot- it’s just longer, so their arm span is the reason the shorter version may be better for your smaller kids!

This gun is so much fun to use! It comes with a target and safety goggles. The set is fun for all ages. This is easy to use for adults and teens. My younger son had a little bit of a hard time with this gun due to its length. This automatic gun shoots orbies with no issues and can be used with multiple shots. The set has its own orbies for the gun in blue and glow in the dark green. The orbies take a few hours to expand. Once you have the gun set up you can play as teams or to play alone hitting the targets for fun. The orbies do not hurt. I love that we can change the colors on the gun to play in teams. It can make the teams the same color just by looking at the colors and have all guns on same color. There is a way to speak to your teammates too. My husband and friends had a great time playing tag and also hitting the targets. I think anyone would love this!

This was made with solid, sturdy quality. Being the gel pellets are stored underneath, it frees your view on the top (many other gel blasters are top loading). This can be fired a few different ways. 1) single shot 2) three round bursts or 3) continuous rapid fire. I’m recommend emptying the mag when low or fine so ant remaining gel beads don't dry up and jam it. There is a small release button at the top to release preloaded gel beads.fun feature to change the LED light color. Awesome way to get kids back outside playing while still engaging in cool app technology!

My kids love it and they have been playing non-stop. It came with a bunch of stuff and they have been outside shooting everything in sight for a few days and we haven’t run out. Has great range, doesn’t jam, and has a really solid quality feel to it. Overall great and I highly recommend it.
