Carolina Living Fallon Bench Chestnut: Sturdy Metal Frame, Kitchen & Entryway Use

Quality piece that's made in China... I don't believe it should cost as much as it is. Pretty basic and simple. A piece of wood with two metal square legs. Super easy to construct and sturdy so far. Overall I'm happy with it.

The top piece came damaged at the corner. Otherwise looks nice. The top is veneer, so more susceptible to noticeable damage than wood, but would have been nice to start out looking new. I am just going to replace that with real wood because I like the legs it came with. It also does not feel very sturdy if you sit in the middle of it, but if you sit over one of the legs it feels fine. The weight capacity listed as 400 lbs is misleading, that probably would only work as an unevenly distributed load with more weight over the two legs and much less in the middle. Very quick and easy to assemble.

This bench is exactly what I was looking for! It is beautiful and constructed well. The color is more walnut and less red than in the picture. It's smaller than I envisioned and the metal legs are a bit springy so it moves slightly when you sit down but since I bought it for my toddlers to sit on while getting shoes on, it does the job. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Easy to build, looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture than it is!
