You get that smoky, savory beef taste right away, and the cheddar comes through without being overpowering. It’s not fake-tasting or overly processed, just a solid, meaty flavor that actually satisfies. It’s also got some real substance behind it. Around 13g of protein per stick, low sugar, and made with grass-fed beef, so it’s not just junk food pretending to be a snack.  What stands out most is how convenient it is. Toss it in your truck, your bag, your desk drawer, whatever. The flavor was ok but it seemed saltier than I expected. I think that the texture of the stick was what we didn’t like, it wasn’t quite right. I think maybe a plain, non cheese, flavor might have been a better option next time.

I LOVE when it’s a peel apart rather than the rip tops, this makes it easier for on the go when you don’t have scissors. It’s a thick stick and curbed my appetite while running my kiddos around. Good texture and snap when biting into it, I like that. My only grievance is I would opt for less shelf time if the stick didn’t have so many preservatives. I do appreciate that it doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup Like other leading brands do. Easy on the go.

Salt usually doesn’t bother me and this was way too overpowering. The texture is great. The flavor is great. It just needs to taste less salty
