Q: Can the pillow cover be unzipped and washed ?

A: The cover cannot be removed, but I have stuck the whole thing in the washer & dryer on very low and it came out fine.

A: If you open the zipper on the bottom, you just access the fluffy filling stuff (which probably has a real name) with no lining. If you pull the stuffing out, it seems like it would be very hard to restuff and not get lumpy and lose the original shape. Unless you're willing to spend a lot of time on it or have skills in stuffing things evenly.

This is a nice pillow but while it had a zipper, apparently it’s not meant to come off and be washed. And don’t worry, it’s impossible to find an alternative cover. Why wouldn’t it be washable and why wouldn’t you sell more covers. Dumbest pillow ever. Of course my kid loves it.

For the price and function, I give it 5 stars. If you’re looking for a comfortable back pillow, this is it. I also use it as a weighted pillow for a child with sensory needs. It does the job perfectly. And once it gets very dirty, I can easily buy another one without hesitation since it is at a reasonable price point. For those looking for a high-end back pillow, this is not it. That will cost 3x more. But for a functional product that is affordable, this is perfect.
