A: No, they are not as deep as they claim. They shrunk a ton on first very gentle wash in cold and ultra low dry. We don't have a deep mattress and they won't work.

A: Hi Mickey, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the fitted sheet fits up to 12-inch for Twin/Full, 14-inch Queen/King mattress depth. These sheets are made from 100% cotton flannel, due to the nature of the fabric, some shedding might occur naturally in the first wash, but should not be bothering you much. For the care instruction, please machine wash cold separately with a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low, remove promptly. Do not iron. If there is no free movement in the washer or dryer, use a large capacity commercial washer/dryer. You are able to find the care instruction on the wash label as well. These are very warm & comfortable, however I have never seen any fleece or flannel PILL like this material?! Fine through the wash, but after use, material has pilled like crazy! Purchased snowflake pattern and skier pattern. The snowflake set is fine but the skier pattern is terrible, queue up your lint roller to clean up the mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I washed these once before use, so I took a close-up photo to show you how the fabric looks after one washing. I have a pillow-top mattress, and these still fit after washing, so I don’t think there was any shrinkage. thought they held up pretty well, though not perfectly, which I guess makes sense since they’re not terribly costly. I’ve always liked flannel sheets, especially in winter, because they keep you warmer than lightweight bedding, and these sheets are no exception. They’re not oppressively warm, but they don’t feel cold when I climb into bed at night, which is great. They’re also soft without feeling flimsy, which I appreciate. The design is cute and very fitting for this time of year, and the colors are varied enough to match many bedroom color schemes. Overall, I’d recommend this product. I liked it but don’t love it enough to intentionally re-purchase from the same company. But I also wouldn’t avoid them in the future.
