A: The material composition on the tag on the actual item says 100% cotton - not sure why other answers say differently
submitted byNaomi - 2 months agoA: The gray ones are not 100% cotton. They’re 90% cotton, 10% polyester. Some “eco green blend” - I’ll never understand how adding plastic to fabrics makes them greener. You may have to grow less cotton, but they become impossible to recycle.

I was in the store today and all of the flannel sheets I saw were 100% cotton except for the gray, which was “eco melange” or something which is apparently 90% cotton 10% polyester. Recent years definitely had some that were a more heavily synthetic blend.

Happy with the quality - I've had another pair of Target flannel sheets that have lasted a few years and these seem slightly better made; nice deep pocket on the mattress sheet and didn't notice any shrinking after their fist trip through the dryer (low heat). Love these so much I might have to by a second pair. Wish there were more colors/patterns, but thrilled they're not holiday themed so I can enjoy them in the coolor months of fall and spring.

They Will Work for Now...
These sheets are soft and warm. My only complaint is the flat sheet is not long enough at the bottom of the bed to tuck under. The flat sheet is however long enough on each side of the bed. Most of the time it’s the other way around. Side note: I do have a thick mattress and the fitted sheet fits. It is slightly short at the top and bottom as only one side tucks while the other is not really tucked. Hope this all makes sense.

Nice fabric, and well made. The reason I didn’t go with 5 stars is that they were described as fitting mattresses up to 17 inched deep, mine is 15 inches and barely fit after one washing according to directions! They are cotton, as sheets should be, but cotton will shrink with regular washings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These aren’t as soft, thick, and luxurious as the top quality LLBean flannel sheets I used to have, but they also cost 1/5 of the price of those sheets. If you have a deep mattress, these might be a little tight to fit. I have a queen mattress with a 1 inch topper, and these do fit but they are snug.
