Cute, Soft, and Don't Believe The Negative Reviews!
We bought the pink floral sheet set for an extra house guest a day, before we found out we had more people than expected, visiting (so I didn’t have the luxury of time to wait for anything not in stock, and my options were limited), and, I didn’t initially read the reviews. While waiting for my order to be fulfilled for a drive up order, I got a little worried after reading a couple of the reviews. When I got them, just like I do with anything else that is colorful and new, I washed them first in a short cold cycle to set the color, and then in a hot steam cycle —as I do with anything new to my house. I have to be honest here: I can’t believe the hate on some of the reviews. There was absolutely no pilling, they are soft the way you would expect this material to feel, and I can’t imagine the color “rubbing off”. To be honest, I had a pretty low expectation, because the price was so inexpensive, but our guest (who likes nice things) raved about how comfortable and nice the sheets and bedding was. (We paired the sheet set with soft blankets, as most people would.) I am a bit snobby when it comes to home decor etc, and I like the way they look + feel. The people who are claiming they weren’t soft: I’m not sure if other “color options” were made of other materials, but it doesn’t seem so. These are soft to the touch. The reviewer that said the color “rubbed off”: Did you wash yr sheets before using, as it sounds like you didn’t? The person claiming that there is a problem after the sheets are on his/her bed for 2-3 weeks needs to wash their sheets: No one should go that long without washing their sheets. I disagree that these are thin. They washed well—no pilling at all. The softness and material quality seem great, especially for this price point, but surprisingly they do look/feel more “expensive” than what I paid for. (We typically buy much more expensive sheets, so I was surprised w/how nice they were.) I am reviewing this, so that others know, these are pretty good sheets and my experience is totally positive. While they aren’t $200 or $500 quality sheets, you didn’t go to Target to buy $200 or $500 sheets, right? I’d recommend.
