A: Hello Elizabeth - The Room Essentials mattress pad is made to fit the top of a traditional queen mattress. It's dimensions are 60" x 80" The side skirt which holds it to the mattress was designed to fit up to 15". I hope this helps.

A: Hello Mary! I know this Twin/Twin labeling can be confusing. We are sorry you are frustrated. The dimensions of the mattress pad were designed to fit both Twin and Twin XL. The mattress pad is 80 Inches (L), 39 Inches (W). A typical twin mattress is 74 Inches (L), 38 Inches (W) and a typical Twin XL mattress is 80 Inches (L), 38 Inches (W). A: Hello! We do not recommend washing our Room Essentials Mattress pads in an agitator washing machine. We have come to this conclusion from multiple product testings. Our test results have shown damage to mattress pad and some times to machines. We recommend using front loader or top loading Non-agitator type washing machines. This mattress pad does not stay on our 14" deep mattress; it constantly comes untucked and slips up, resulting in uncomfortable, bunched-up sheets. The product pictures seem to show that the sides—the part the is supposed to stretch down and tuck under the mattress—are opaque and substantial, but they are actually a stretchy, very smooth, see-through material. Perhaps because the material is so smooth, with little texture to it, it just doesn't “grab” onto the mattress to stay in place and the sheets that go over it don’t grab onto the cover, and so they slip off as well. Unfortunately, this purchase was a disappointing waste of money.
